We parked the car on the nearby car park and bought a weekly ticket. There were lots of things to do and great places to eat and drink, all within easy walking distance.
Communication was good.

“Visited The Lodge at Windermere in October with 2 friends. The property is in a beautiful location just a few minutes walk from the town, station, bus stops and lovely walks. The Lodge itself is very spacious and comfortable and has a large garden. Hope to return sometime.”
“Lots of properties to choose from and generally easy to book. We have used them a number of times in the last couple of years since we sold our caravan. Only problem we had was recently when our dog needed an operation the day we were to travel and I would have liked to speak to someone at Sykes so they could contact the owners of the property but found that impossible and ended up ringing and speaking to them myself despite being extremely upset as we didn't just not want to turn up. That was nearly 2 months ago and still no one from Sykes has had the courtesy to call me in response to a complaint.”
