“Fantastic stay at Changing Tides at Beadnell Bay. Wonderful property, very well equipped and lots and lots of space. Great to sit in comfortable the upstairs living room watching the waves crashing in the bay and the lighthouse light when the sun goes down. A proper home from home place to stay”
“Perfect place for us as a couple to stay. Pretty much everything we needed was supplied. Everything was clean and in good condition.
Where this property is turned out to be perfect for getting a bus into Weymouth centre, 3 pounds each for one way. It took around 15 mins, so pointless taking the car if the centre of Weymouth is all you require. You're looking at around 12 pounds to get you back via a taxi. Fleetline (?) were efficient and arrived super quick.
Parking could be considered a bit tricky at the property. but like other reviews mentioned, if you can reverse your car, it's absolutely fine. Once in, your vehicle is pretty safe.
Generally it's a nice and quiet area, nothing disturbed us at all.
Any issues? Not really, but a TV that could be cast to or has the usual apps loaded would have been useful, but we just used our mobiles to stream. Other than that small thing(to us anyway), it was a great little place to stay.”
“Sykes cottages were excellent at giving out info re our holiday but when I tried to contact them with a query of the balance due it was impossible to speak to a person by phone. This was very frustrating and eventually I decided to go through new bookings and surprise surprise my call was answered immediately. I was then transferred to the correct person and my query was dealt with satisfactorily. Please Sykes make it easier for customers to speak to customer services and I would rate you very good.”

“Booked for a multiple family holiday - there is loads of room to socialise, large garden and lots of nice places to visit nearby. Location is tucked away but very convenient if you want to be near shops. The whole family enjoyed the stay, and the property has a nice homely feel.
There are some compromises on comfort in the house itself - there were 11 of us staying and ideally there would be an additional downstairs toilet, enough dining chairs for all to sit comfortably at the table etc.”

We have 7 bookings so far this year one of which we recently had for the 2 weeks of Easter.
