“Lovely cottage situated in a beautiful village!
Our only grievances were that during the heatwave back in July, using the Aga oven to cook also acted as central heating, warming the whole house. Not using the oven meant we couldn't cook, so it felt like a bit of a catch-22. As it's an Aga, we realised this is unavoidable, but this is just something for people to bear in mind when staying over the summer months.
Our second issue was that we couldn't sit in the garden because of the petrol tank and its strong smell, which made it unpleasant to be outside. This was a bit disappointing given how lovely the setting is.
But despite these issues, we would still go back!”

“Booked next years holiday then a few days later received a voucher for £40 off for next year On checking I was told told that I had already booked a holiday and therefore could not use this voucher”
“I had a lovely week with my dog at Nattaden. A warm cosy cottage well positioned to travel in all directions for days out. Lots of nice walks in the area and great to come back to at the end of the day. A spacious kitchen to cook a meal and comfortable bed and sofas. I think the most comfy sofa I have had in a holiday rental. Great shower and nice surprise to find a freezer in the kitchen. Was expecting a shared freezer as quoted in the details so definitely a bonus. I had a lovely welcome from the owners who are very friendly and helpful. The cottage is very clean and a pleasure to stay in.”

“The flat is really nice very clean. Nice view on the balcony. Only slight negative would be in the bathroom could do with a grab handle to use the bath I was with my 80 year old dad and it was a bit tricky”
“What a lovely, welcoming cottage. The view is fantastic from both the downstairs and main bedroom. The quiet is the best thing. The pub is only a couple of doors away with a fantastic out door deck for a fine day. To say it is so close there is no disturbance at the cottage. Hooting owls and a peek of an herron bring you closer to nature. Very comfortable and well equipped. Respect the place and clean up of yourselves and your fur babies and alls good. A fantastic wood is just 5mins away up the hill. This takes you by a ruin from 1646. At the side of the lake. Follow the sweep of the lake brings you to a huge strolling park. The dogs were over the mood with the space. In easy reach are beautiful beaches. Gorgous skys and seas. Interesting rocks, caves and rock pools. Please be aware of high tide times. Only down fall to our holiday is the very rude man in the shop in the arcade across the park. Doesn't seem to like his Job and reluctant to sell his stock. Has vibes of it being a local shop for local people! So is rude to visitors. The shop I mean is right up past the chinese at the back of the arcade. Pub is very welcoming. 10/10 for the cottage.”
“My partner and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday, lovely stay. Hosts very welcoming and on arrival we received cupcakes. The pods have everything you will need for your stay and lots of animals to see whilst staying at mill house farm pods.”

“Dove Meadows House is a very comfortable, well-equipped house, situated on the edge of a lovely village which has shops and places to eat. The house is on a quiet lane and has lovely views and walks from the doorstep. Very helpful and friendly owners.”
“Smart modern cabin in lovely setting with large rooms and a luxury bathroom. Stabling on the farm means there are lots of horses watch.
Underfloor heating worked well. There was no washing machine in the cabin although one is listed on the web site.”
