“We were so fortunate to find this property Carpe Diem it was perfect for our family and grandchildren not forgetting the dog.Throughout our stay it never felt cramped as there was do much room inside and outside in the garden. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water was a high light for the children. We wokld deffently recommend this property”
“Had a relaxing few days at this beautiful Lodge. The views are stunning especially from the hot tub with the sun on the somerset flats. The accommodation had everything you would need, although had a bit of trouble working out the hob and oven but got there eventually. We went with elderly parents so the downstairs bedroom and bathroom were ideal. The bunk beds are rather short and not really suitable for a child over 14.
Overall wonderful stay.”
“Fabulous house with everything you could ask for. Val greeted us on arrival with plenty of local information and gave us a guided tour of the house. A lovely welcome pack awaited us as well ,so many lovely touches. Amlwch was a great base with lots to do locally or a short drive away. Will definitely be back .”
“Lovely place, great location, we didn’t take our dogs, but the place smelled really nice when we arrived and not at all doggy. View off balcony very soul satisfying, sea in distance with lighthouse blinking. Our favourite meal was the Albion, The Bowgie and Cornishman ok. Favourite Beach Holywell Bay. Tesco delivered all food an hour after check in. 👍👍”
“The cottage was fairly comfy, had pretty much everything we needed. The bed was lovely, really big (SKS), beautiful white bedding, really comfy/cozy, settees were less so, very old/dated uncomfortable and small... Bathroom/shower was really nice/modern, easy to use and keep clean, shower was also good for me (I have mobility issues) with grab rail, low level/anti slip etc... Kitchen had everything you could need, pots/pans/mixer/krups coffee machine (nespresso)/washer-dryer machine/dishwasher/freezer/fridge and all the other usual kitchen stuff... Towels/bedding/toilet rolls/kitchen roll/hand soap/wash-up liquidwash tablets/dish-wash tablets supplied. There was a vacuum cleaner, but it was pathetic, I mean really rubbish, we used the dust-pan and brush we found in the garage. The surrounding area was really pretty, however, the very large cottage, which was right next door, you could almost touch it was so close, the advert led you to beleive differently!!! Otherwise it was enough out of the town of Cupar to be lovely and quiet but close enough for a less than 10 minute drive for shops, cafes, restaurants, bars etc. Also a good central hub for many beautiful lochs and places of interests to go and see... No dog on the sofas or bed! so take a couple of spare blankets for naughty dogs lol that might be used to using them lol...”
“Lovely cottage with a beautiful private garden with plenty of space for sunbathing and relaxing. Cottage was meticulously clean and well equiped. The cottage is within walking distance of the village green with some shops and eating places. Ideal location to visit Lincoln either by car or bus. Our hosts Fran and Mike made us very welcome and supplied an excellant welcome pack ( best one we have ever seen). Plenty of interesting reading materials for a relaxing break. Highly recommend Beckside cottage.”

The hosts were lovely and very helpful.

“We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. The location is fantastic – just a short walk from the harbour and all the shops, with everything you could possibly need within easy walking distance.
The cottage is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel very cosy and welcoming. The bathrooms are more than sufficient for a group of eight guests, which made our stay especially comfortable.
One of the highlights is the fantastic roof terrace, offering a beautiful view over the harbour – the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
We were able to park on the street right in front of the cottage, which was very convenient.
Overall, a charming and beautifully located cottage that we would happily recommend and stay in again!”
“Lovely place to stay, a few things to note.. grassed area for the dog is not secure, not a problem for us but be aware. The lounge area had a heavy smell of cat wee, so we had the windows open most of the time, luckily good weather during our stay. Shower needed a deep clean (black sealant mould) and had a slight leak. Recycle bins could do with greater explanation, had to hunt them down outside. That said, it was a very nice stay and we appreciated the welcome tray of goodies and the fresh milk in the fridge. Well stocked supplies for cleaning although hoover bag was so full, we had to empty this by hand before hoovering the carpets before we left. We appreciated the games for an evening in, and we left a couple that we'd brought for others to use. In summary a very nice comfortable property in a nice position for all activities and we would recommend and stay here again.”
“We stayed in The Olde Cow House in August 2026. What a spectacular place! blends rustic charm with modern luxury beautifully. We enjoyed the pristine swimming pool and games room to the lovely farm walks. The setting is peaceful, the beds are comfortable. If you are looking for a flawless countryside escape in Shropshire, this is it. Highly recommended!”
“We booked for a family reunion holiday. The accommodation offered plenty of space and comfort - and the games provided were appreciated. The location was lovely and very easy access to both Conwy and Llandudno. All in all we can highly recommend Preswylfa. The arrangements for key access were straightforward, so there were no problems with people travelling at different times from different locations. The only issue was the WiFi signal, which was a bit variable and made it difficult to use the downstairs tv. Thank you for a great holiday!”
