“What a fabulous location! We were blown away by the views on arrival. The pictures really dont do it justice. Our dogs loved the massive secure garden and waking up to those views every day was truly therapeutic. The cottage was one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed at and it was great to have all the bins clearly labeled. It's the little things. There was a little welcome pack of bread sugar ham milk, which was great. The location is great fir exploring local beaches, walks and towns and there are plenty of pubs and places to eat withing a short drive away. All of that is second place to those views! We will definitely be back.”
“3b Coastguards Cottage.
This is a little gem! Tucked between a row of beautifully maintained cottages, 3B is a cozy, warm and welcoming cottage. The Welcome Pack is very considerate and sets the tone. The first compliment is the cleanliness of the cottage: it was spotlessly clean and fresh. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, cutlery and cleaning materials. A suggestion would be to add a small hand basin in the downstairs toilet. Wi-fi is perfectly adequate as is the parking. The sea views from the shared garden are wonderful with Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance. We shall certainly be returning soon.”
“Great cottage.. we loved our break in Belford. Perfect location for Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne.....Very comfortable....very creaky floorboards upstairs but realise it's an old property. Shower over bath not ideal for over 70's which our group was. The first night the power went off and couldn't see evidence of a power cut. However, we loved the property and would take our Oz visitors there again....regards”

“Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. We explored the local area and then spent 2 days resting in the accommodation. Evie our 4 year old Greyhound loved the field for a good run & we loved sitting at the bench with a cuppa. Well worth the climb! We also had the pleasure of seeing two Hares playing in the field from our bedroom window. Simply magical! Would love to return. Highly recommended. “Lovely week, we enjoyed our stay, but need to mention a few things, there needs to be shelving in the bathrooms, no coat hooks in hall, and no mirror in 2nd bedroom.
We felt a little mis led by the write up saying after you have cooked, sit at the breakfast bar to eat, only 2 stools and only room for 2 stools, advertised as an apartment for 4 guests.
The dining area needs sorting, 4 adults having to sit at a gateleg table which need to be put up and down for meals and 4 foldable chairs does not make for a relaxing meal, and not enough room to sit comfortably. If the room was rearranged there could be a dining area set up, we checked all other apartments advertised on the site.
A large part of our week is relaxing with a good a cooked meal and drinks, with friends. Lingering at the dining table, not fearful the the chairs would collapse.

“It is not often we leave a property truly heartbroken that we have to leave. If we could give higher than five stars we would. Immaculate accommodation, outstanding location, perfect welcome pack and Mark & Adrian the hosts are friendly, approachable and that rare thing a owner who seems truly happy to play host. As an added bonus we would suggest you purchase some of their homemade jam or chutney it definitely sweetens the fact you are leaving this idyllic stay.”
“The location is totally stunning overlooking the Warren Beach. We would have liked to have used the decked area more, but it was very windy.
The beds were comfortable and great showers, just a shame they don't supply towels, never had that before in a rental.
Very disappointed that you had to pay for the leisure, so we didn't use it.
We have a few other comments to make about cleanliness and kitchen supplies, but will contact Sykes direct.”
“Small site but lots of amenities to keep all ages happy. Very dog friendly site. Accomodation spacious, clean tidy with great outlook. Had everything you need and plenty of space for 3 generations and two dogs. Only downside was the parking the other site of the park, and unloading of cars in narrow road. Hopefully we will book again.”
