“Bought a soldering station, extra tips, solder and flux and have made some great soldering joints with it since. It was surprisingly inexpensive to the extent that I almost wanted to pay more because I've had a number of soldering irons from other places, one double this price, and all of them haven't worked properly or not lasted. So hopefully Switch Electronics have provided something of quality here even though it didn't cost much. It certainly feels like it's good quality.”

“The big component resellers like RS, Farnell, Mouse etc are now charging stupid delivery fees. Fortunately Switch is stepping in. I would buy more if the component inventory was bigger simply because the delivery charge is reasonable and items arrive quickly. Also, I can buy a small quantity of an item rather than having to buy 1000's at a time. In many cases I buy from China simply because the delivery is often free and I can buy in small quantities. How can delivery from China be free when some suppliers ask for more than £15?”
