My swimming instructor was Amy, such an amazing soul. Amy made me feel at ease and helped me through my swimming. It’s not easy to learn to swim as an adult but with Amy she made it so easy for me. I enjoyed my lessons and really thank her for showing me and teaching me professionally with her big smile and time she took with the level off teaching skills she showed me. It was amazing to be taught by her and will be going back, fingers crossed hope will get in her class again. Such a good time I had with her and actually she taught my wife and my son and both were amazed by her skills of profession she showed. Big up to Amy and we can’t thank you much! Thanks

Amy at SwimNow was the perfect coach for any apprehensive water-goer. She made me feel capable, calm and was full of encouragement after a lifetime of doubt and avoidance. I can now swim 3 strokes to a level I’m happy with and am able to swim with my 6 year old daughter on holidays. Life changing. The one to one lessons make such a difference, as do the private pools. I can wholeheartedly recommend SwimNow to change and add value to your life.

We’ve had a great experience with swimming teacher Ryan. My 9 year old son struggled to concentrate in group lessons and the 1 on 1 approach had been great. Ryan is patient and calm throughout lessons and my son was always happy to chat away to him! Thank you for all your help in progressing my son to the next level!

My swimming instructor was Andy. He was very patient and encouraging. I got over my fear of water and I am able to swim a little more. I definitely would recommend Andy as a swimming instructor.. Unfortunately I could not continue with lessons due to cost.

I did a course with swimnow to learn to swim and it was a good experience. I had come to England to learn English and even with the language barrier, Robin, my teacher, was able to adapt. Not only did she teach me how to swim but she also taught me new words in English as well as things about English culture and all this in a good mood. She always found simple ways to explain things to me and when I couldn't make a move she found a way for me to understand. A big thank to Robyn

I had my first swimming lesson with Polly on Friday, I was really nervous as I have fear of water. Before entering the pool I had anxiety attack. Polly put me at ease very quickly and helped me get into the water where she worked with me at my pace. Brilliant swimming teacher very calm, reassuring, and made me feel comfortable in the water would highly recommend

Would not recommend! Their website states that lessons are 1-1 or 1-2 private lessons in uncrowded pools - this couldn't be further from the truth, lessons are held in a crowded small public pool with no room at all, if you are nervous or self conscious this is very unsettling, so much so that we decided not to bother with the lesson, when I tried to contact Swim now after the lesson to complain about this I couldn't get through at all. Very misleading!!!

My 11 year old son could swim, but lacked technique and confidence. Andy was brilliant with him, making the lessons varied and fun. He has progressed so much over the summer and is less anxious for swimming at secondary school. Highly recommended!

I had a bundle of twelve lessons with Pete and have made lots of progress by the end. As I have always had doubts about my physical ability, I felt unsure about group classes and I tried to teach myself to swim for a few times to no avail. After lessons with Pete I am now able to travel from one end of the 13m pool to the other both on my back and on my front with the help of fins, and I had never thought I could be able to do that. My only complaint is that I would have preferred having two 30 minute sessions a week, but the instructor’s schedule is too tight and can’t fit in more lessons.

Our first lesson with David was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to get to know our son and assessed his abilities in a relaxed and fun way. We were amazed that even in this session he made progress. David was gentle and reassuring with Ollie and made him feel completely safe. So far we have been very impressed and are excited to see him grow further in confidence and skill as his lessons continue.

My swimming instructor Lisa was amazing and she would get 5 stars. However, the company is poor. When you are having lessons, constantly phoning to get you to pay for more lessons (which are expensive). Call at weekends and emailing constantly. Before I finished, I was due a certificate. Didn't arrive in time. Emailed repeatedly with no reply. Eventually they emailed back and said they would post one. It never arrived. Not interested as didn't need more lessons. Something as small as a certificate is easily done and is worthwhile, but they were not interested, extremely poor condisering how much it costs for lessons. Only interested in money not the actual customer.

In my opinion DO NOT book swimming lessons with this company! A course of 6 lessons cost me £270 - so £45 per 30 minutes. Not insignificant by any means! The lady teaching me - Lisa me was lovely. Not her fault at all! My huge issue with the swim school occurred when my mother in law was taken unwell a few hours before one of my lessons. She had to be taken to Stoke hospital and by the time this was established by the Paramedics I knew I would have to miss my lesson. I couldn't leave my very unwell mother in law in ED alone and confused. I emailed the rep Graham, and also mentioned it to Lisa on the next lesson. However, all Graham could say in his return email was that they operate a strict 24 hour no show policy and I would lose the lesson. This happened around six weeks ago and I've been away from home since. I've recently returned home and contacted Graham about the matter again. I explained that I'd booked 6 lessons upfront before I went abroad. I just wanted some lessons beforehand to help me in the water a little bit and It would have helped at the time If the school could have offered me another lesson maybe a day or 2 later, as the situation was unavoidable. Graham hasn't responded at all. I've had a WhatsApp message today from Simon (manager?) responding to my query???? but instead advising me about taster lessons, swimming lessons and locations near to me!. Even if he were to offer me 1 lesson now, that wouldn't help. I've been on holiday and don't require any further lessons now He also says to ring or message him back which I have . Surprise surprise no response - I've done both. I'm sure If I was ringing to book lessons the response would be more or less immediate. (It certainly was when I did initially book) Certainly not at the extortionate price of £270 ( I was desperate at the time) I'm not even necessarily asking for my £45 back. I feel as If that's lost now! I just expected better customer service at the time for the money paid I rarely write reviews. This whole situation has annoyed me hugely and I just want to warn other people off this company.

Professional service iro booking lessons. My instructor, Joanne, contacted me and let me know exactly what to expect and also to ask what my experience was. Lessons were always on time and filled with teaching and practise. I finished my set of lessons with much improved confidence and the ability to relax and enjoy the water. Th as no you so much.
