“I've never purchased from Supplemented before, but I thought I'd try the 'Acidophilus - pack of 180 tablets', since it was cheaper than other ones I had seen online. I have now been taking this supplement for 3 months and overall, I can say that I am happy with my purchase, as it arrived on time (straight through the letter box), in compact/minimal packaging and the tablets are the smallest I've ever had, so very easy to swallow. I take one every night/every other night (as I heard it reaches the gut best when not drinking hot fluids and I drink throughout the day. It suggests to take it after meals or at night - whichever you would prefer. In terms of my health, I believe it has helped me digest dairy products easier (I usually avoid dairy because it makes me feel uneasy afterwards - not anymore!). I also think it does help to regulate vaginal discharge, however I would need to trial it longer to fully confirm that. I am not sure if it has helped my immune system in general, although I haven't been ill since taking them, which could be because of it. As an alternative, you could also try natural yoghurt/kefir yoghurt drink with live/active biological cultures (usually listed in the ingredients as Lactobacillus or Bifidus bacteria). I take these too, but the Acidophilus tablets work out cheaper and are much easier to keep up with. Overall, I would say they're worth a try and I would repurchase again. :)”
