“Stand bag was functioning poorly with the stand either retracting very slowly causing a distinct trip hazard or in deen not at all. I contacted after sales and they suggested I loosen the fixings myslef and use WD40 spray to help the stand work as it should. I find this response to be entirely unsatisfactory and will ensure I pass on my HUGE disapointment with Sun Mountain to the extended golfing community. I will NEVER use this company again!”

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry that you were disappointed with your experience. Your initial email asked us to advise how the problem could be remedied as quickly as possible. We therefore apologised and suggested a simple adjustment that can sometimes resolve this issue immediately when bolts have been overtightened during manufacture. This was offered only as a quick troubleshooting option that could avoid the inconvenience of returning the bag. When you advised that you expected the bag to function correctly without making any adjustments yourself, we agreed and confirmed that we could arrange for the bag to be returned so the stand mechanism could be inspected and the matter resolved. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response to that email. Our offer to arrange the return remains open, and we would be pleased to resolve the issue if you contact us.

“Telephone support / advice was ok - I don’t believe the person helping me was knowledgeable about what type of travel bag protection one needs when travelling internationally. He was more concerned about price (which I was), however, I also wanted plus plus protection as described to him, as I was replacing a travel bag that had been broken beyond repair on a recent international flight. Delivery was prompt - no issues there. The Sunmountain Clubglider is great, very easy to manage and manoeuvre with the rest of one’s luggage”
