“The Sunday evening prior I was feeling apprehensive about how the week would play out, at what pace it would be delivered and if I could even keep up with the course.
The Tutor, Steve Carr immediately allayed any of those feelings from Day #1; he possesses considerable skill and experience in putting everyone at ease. Initially, a lot of the class were nervous of being on show / video call, etc but as the day warmed up, more and more of us took active participation and the course was all the more enjoyable for it. A lot of interaction with each other, sharing ideas and experiences really helped too - a few of us have agreed to keep in touch, which is a testament to Steve's teaching style - his ability to build group rapport very rapidly.
The interaction with Vinh Nguyen from the Civil Service on Wednesday and the groups combined gave a very real and insightful introduction to how they operate, really helpful.
