“The shopping experience was a little troublesome because there were two different prices for the same product, and I was struggling to find that same webpage with the lower price on it when I came back the next day to purchase it. I eventually found it but had to go through many links on your site to get to the more discounted price, instead of just scrolling down to the higher price on the first (main) page you land on when searching for Sonarworks in a search engine. This was during the Black Friday sale 2023. So I'd say that finding information was a bit of a struggle in terms of the UI on your website before the purchase, to answer your question. After the purchase, there is only one page with a "thank you for your purchase" message and a summary of it, so no trouble there after the PayPal transaction. The only thing I'd recommend is to make it easier to find what you're looking for on the Sonarworks webpage. My Experience with the support center has been amazing. For the two or three times that I've contacted Sonarworks support over the year; the support team has been knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.”

“I use SoundID reference (monitor and headphones) since years and I am more than happy with the product and the support! Just I was a bit disappointed that the virtual monitoring add-on came with a fix price, while new customers obviously could benefit from bundle discounts.”

“Sonarworks is a very useful application for studio and recording purposes. Provided calibration examples for the headphones helped to achieve neutral listening conditions. However, the curves are not 100% accurate and you have to remember it while using Sonarworks.”

“At first i had problems finding out if the stereo version is able to calibrate a 2.1 or just a 2.0 system. I also had trouble to find Information on how the product works and had to use google to find out it does not do any phasecorrection. I knew from a Friend that it is still worth it, thats why it didn't bother me but I would have liked to see more technical information on the Website. Same goes to the mobile version, though personally I am more interested in SoundID Reference.”

“The website contains clearly written information. The overall website experience is straight to the point. It is easy to find your way around the website. After buying the SoundID Reference software from Sonarworks, they will give a very clear step-by-step walkthrough of how to install and use the software after downloading it straight away. Also, they are giving you a 30-day trial to try out the SoundID software. Within a few days, I was already sold with the software and decided to buy the software with the Black Friday discount. Within a couple of seconds/minutes, the license key was available to copy and paste into the software and the rest is history. Great service!”

“The curves applied to my speakers have been very helpful...my mixes are translating much better. I was hoping to use the Systemwide App across all the outputs of my computer, but as I'm running Mac Catalina, the new version of SW isn't working...hopefully this will be addressed soon. But even on the master bus of my session this is great for now. Interestingly, i was using ARC 3, and the reference mics of each system shot a different profile...I prefer SW - less flattering while listening, but translating better, which is what we're going for after all.”

“Sonarworks has worked well for me - if you're having specific issues with your room it can help fix this, however I think it's best used in a room that already has substantial treatment. I only really use the DAW plugin, the system app hasn't worked properly for me.”

“The virtual monitoring doesnt work quite well. As soon as you turn it on then the quality of the sound its not fear. I cant trust my mixes using it. As I see, having a virtual environment its needed because of the binaural mix, but it need to mantain some how the linear character, and this doesnt do it. Otherhand it could be nice to vinculate it to a camera to track the head movement, and also hace any way to archieve each own HRTF curve. Hope you work with this, but right now I cant recomend the virtual monitoring to mix anythig.”

“I heard of Sonaworks products for headphone correction years ago, and I tried some earlier version back then (it was recommended as the best EQ correction software). I really didn't have a use for it until recently when I started producing music again and mixing on headphones was my only option. After doing more research to see if Reference was still the best product (needless to say: it was at least for my headphones: AKG K702 and Sennheiser HD380). Luckily SoundID Reference was on sale on Black Friday, and I jumped in and bought it. Very easy to use! Great selection of headphones. I love that I can use it both system-wide and as a plugin.... I also got the Virtual Monitoring plugin, but quickly realized that it didn't suit my needs. I emailed support and was refunded without any problems.”
