“Got the email with the links and licence code almost immediately. The download worked first time and has been applied. The only problems I have is with Windows itself but I can't blame Software Geeks for those.”

“Everything as advertised. It was very easy to upgrade from windows vista to windows7. I had a couple of small panics when some of the sequences were slightly different, but I didn't need to contact the geeks. Next challenge is to try to upgrade to Windows10 while its freely available. Thanks for a well priced product”

“I am a pensioner knocking on 70 years of age and not very computor savvy. I was updating from XP to Win 7 and was very nervouse about the whole thing and indeed despite the simple instructions and my best efforts the installation failed. Now this is normally where customer service fails and having sold an item the seller is not interested in offering assistance. NOT SO in this case. Through the online chat facility and quite a few emails the patient staff at Softwaregeeks sorted it all out with links and instruction sheets. I even managed to make a bootable usb and install it. Thanks for a bit of old fashioned service it was much appeciated.”

“As I had already installed Win 7 using a Software Geeks iso that I had previously downloaded the new product key activated as soon as I went online. The following day I upgraded to Win 10 using Microsoft's "Get Win 10 now" app.”

“Needed a real Win 7 Pro/64 bit license for another PC. (I'm not a fan of 8.1 or 10). After a quick search, found this site, purchased the license, received the keys in just few minutes and activated my Windows without any problem. Never had to call any support. And the price is unbeatable. This just works!”

“I purchased Windows 2010 Pro from Software Geeks. Electronic delivery of the activation code was near instantaneous and installation/activation from the downloaded ISO went without a hitch. The OS is the OEM version but this is not a problem for me.”

“Great service: instant delivery of the key and clear instructions for Windows 7 which I installed and then took advantage of the free upgrade to 10. I now have Windows 10 running on my old Vista laptop which is performing better and faster than it's done in years so a great purchase and I'm very happy. I have no great IT expertise and achieved a good result. However, please be aware this is a time consuming process. It is a long download and I had to have several attempts at burning a disc before I got one that successfully installed. There is lots of help on the internet but again it takes time to find, read and implement. I was unable to use Software geeks helpline at a critical point during the upgrade as their phone system was being transferred and I had no online access to use their interactive chat support but I was just unlucky in my timing. Top tips would be to check out the activation process for windows before you start if you want to continue from 7 to 10 and use the Microsoft updates troubleshooting tool (free download) if your computer stalls during the 'getting updates' phase of the installation) Also be prepared to spend time adjusting your computer settings - mine ran very slowly on Windows 7 but a clean boot sorted it and I have had to make a number of adjustments for Windows 10 If you have time, patience and are prepared to have a go then this is a great way to cheaply upgrade Windows - especially if your's is about to become redundant - and improve the performance of your computer but I suspect if I had paid myself a reasonable rate for the hours it took me then I could have bought a new laptop!”

“Have downloaded Win 7 twice. Followed instructions and still cannot upgrade from Visa home basic 64bit to Windows 7 64bit. Installation failes with error code 0x80070241.”
