“The software did not load properly. I contacted them to get my money back but heard nothing and doubt I will. A waste of £19. Avoid them”

“the only thing that i can give you a review is that instead of sending a download to ppl that are buying products or software from you is by sending them a full installation disc with all programme files not just part files because of the amount of problems i have had from the download has cost me more that wot your company promised”

Hi Andrew, The product you purchased was download only and clearly advertised as so. You did not purchase a disc version. Full step by step instructions were sent to you on how to create your own disc/USB. We have replied to your email re. missing drivers. Windows 7 installations (released in 2009) only contain generic drivers, it's impossible for them to contain every driver that exists, especially for newer machines. Any missing drivers must be downloaded from your machine manufacturer's website, or install via the discs that were supplied with your machine. “I came across Softwaregeeks looking for a different company which seems to have moved, but being short of time thought I would give them a try. Initially I had some problems with my purchase due to having to go through Sage pay instead of PayPal which would have avoided the problem. Eventually though, I got my order, burned the ISO. and installed the software onto the machine with no problems. Although the whole process took a lot longer than it should have (due to my own mistakes in general), Softwaregeeks were always there to provide answers and not slow in doing so. I found the online chat especially useful. Also the FAQ. page was quite comprehensive. Yes I would use them again.”

“This company does not want to know if you have any problems installing their product! Telephone number for help was not in service (Mar 2016) and their online chat is of little help as on the rare occasion they are available, they are deliberately obtuse. Their so-called 'full instructions' could not be considered any more than a rough guide at best. Their customer service is virtually non-existent. I would advise anybody that does not have a degree in computer sciences to avoid this company. They will not accept this criticism, as far as I can see, they never do. Furthermore, you can request a refund but you won't get it!”

We have replied to every email you have sent. The instructions sent are clear and concise, and cover every step you must take, which you did not follow. “Download arrived promptly and burned easily on to DVD. Loaded it on to laptop to replace legitimate copy of Vista that had driven me mad for several years. Thus established the problem was not with the machine which then worked fine, Supplied Product Key for W7 HP activated without problem. Then loaded free download of W10 which is working just fine. So, a good service at a good price.”

Hi Richard, We don't understand what you mean. The license was emailed to you immediately upon purchase. If you're referring to downloads, this depends on the speed of your internet connection. We have not received any emails from yourself requesting any returns. Regards, Softwaregeeks
