“Ordered a pair of trainers and was told them would be delivered by DPD on specific date. Received confirmation that DPD have my parcel and it is ready for delivery. I then received an email saying: Hi Matthew James Wood Your order 334378 has been updated to "Complete" Order comments are: Hey Adrian, Chasing up the following email, due to a stock error we are out of stock in the Adidas X Alltimers Gazelles 9.5. Would you like to swap it for another pair or i can issue a refund? Sorry again for any inconvenience caused The sales team I don't understand how an item can be ready for delivery, and then the next day be out of stock? Very frustrating experience as the item is now out of stock in my size across the internet.”

“Piss poor customer service. I ordered grip tape from this company only to receive the item already opened, this was part of a gift for someone, how does this company expect people to be okay with getting an item that the inner packaging is already open. I can't give this as a gift to someone and the company refused to pay for the delivery to send it back. Absolutely insane. NOWHERE on the product description did it state I would be receiving an opened product. Will not be recommending and I will not be buying the rest of the skateboard set up from this company.”

As was explained to the customer via our live chat, what they received was in fact wholesale packaging we use in the warehouse. These grip strips do not in fact come packaged and are not advertised that they come packaged. As a result that product is not faulty or damaged, so as per our standard returns policy we do not offer free returns.

“I ordered a Pro-Tec helmet for my Son's Birthday - the helmet [in it's box] was just placed in a postal bag so the Pro-Tec box arrived battered - not a great look for a Birthday Present. Furthermore it was evident that the helmet had previously been opened (it wasn't in its full packaging and the labeling had already been removed). Retrospectively, after I 'd ordered a replacement from another supplier, I found the manual and accessories to be missing. I won't be using Slam City Skates online again.”

“I bought a pair of shoes online. Got the confirmation order. I waited 4 days for an email saying my shoes were shipped and it never came. I contacted them asking about the shipping of the product and they told me it is out of stock. What if I hadn't contacted them? They would just keep my money and that was it? I'm still waiting for my money back. But the fact they sold me the shoes and them after days waiting they answer me saying is not available was shocking.”

“I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your company on February 20, 2019. I have received my order #S00105303 and I was expected that my parcel will be arrived in good and solid condition. But I was so devastated when I opened up the parcel just to see my shoe box was so damaged due to your recklessness and irresponsible action. I think it is a basic common and thought, when you have received an order from outside of UK, you need to make sure that the item is well wrapped with bubble wrap and you ship it with double box to make sure that customer items in great condition, without any damaged upon received. I am totally disappoint by your shipping service.”

“My order arrived on the 05/02 way after the purchase date because the delivery company DPD Slam City Skates uses are hopeless I’ve had so much problems with them DPD threatened to send the item back to you because they couldn’t be bothered to folllow my delivery instructions finally my order arrived & the box in the bag was damaged luckily the product wasn’t it’s a shame I had to pay for the delivery with my online order because it wasn’t delivered to my satisfaction”
