“They delivered grey blinds instead of the white ones we ordered. When we asked for a replacement or a refund they told me grey is equal to white, to them, for this type of blinds. The item title and content was clearly saying white. Well, what else can I say. Then they told me the pictures are for illustration purposes only (is that a cheap way to lie to customers or not?) and I should order a free sample before I order the items. Well in that case why did you not notify me from the beginning that your item is not really white but grey, to not make an order but send me first me a sample? I am mislead, I've spent £300 they pocketed and that's it. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 clearly states content must be as described by the seller. I have got no time and no courage to deal with scums and an unprofessional company. Even my legal expenses and the trouble are not worth it, and they know it. Have you ever dealt with Amazon customer service? Well, that's the total opposite. You've lost a customer, you got a review and pocketed £300. Well done.”

“The manufacturing tolerance was too exact. It may be that my wooden windows of some age had swollen or had not been manufactured to the exact size? However, I had to cut off approx 5mm of the aluminium frame to fit the windows. The actual blind runners were tight due to the frame being too exact.”

“I waited a long time before ordering, because I was afraid that, because of a much bigger skylight than on the instruction video, we could not manage the fitting ourselves. However, the wonderful sales team convinced me that it was easy and we did it. We’ve had the blind now for some months and are really happy with it, both in Summer and, now, in autumn. We actually have it permanently closed, which still leaves us with plenty of light.”

Hi Eileen you certainly will get many use out of your roof lantern blind our customers tell us they can't live without them.

“All parcels were received on time and as expected. I was surprised to note that the only parts apparently made in the UK were some cut and (poorly) painted aluminium angle pieces. The actual blinds appeared to be manufactured in Dubai. I have no real problem with this, the one we have fitted works ok, although the remote control programming is a bit of a challenge and entirely unnecessary in our case. we just want a simple open and close control. They are not only self install, but also self assemble. not a problem really except that I feel for what you get, the pricing is pushing it somewhat. They should also make it clear that they are not the manufacturers, as they seem to suggest, but just a distributor.”

Hi Michael thanks so much for your feedback. I am so sorry that you thought the quality of the angles was not up to standard I am so sorry about this. This is the first we have heard of this and we could have sent you new angles if we would have known. We do assemble and test the blinds in the factory but it is impossible to send the blinds fully assembled in transit. The blinds are made to measure but flat pack because of transit. We do not manufacture the blinds in house but work with factories all over the UK and abroad exclusively to offer you our specified product for your roof windows at a value for money price cutting out the expense of a blind fitter. With regards to the remote control the blinds are programmed and limits are set in the factory but sometimes things can change during transit and that is why we are here to help you over the phone.

“I have 3 Velux skylights to which I needed blinds fitting. The price of Velux was about 3 times the amount I paid for these. I was a bit skeptical when I ordered these as they were so cost-effective, and being a 3rd party thought they might not fit as well as the original Velux. However, I was presently surprised. The quality was first-rate and fitted straight into place with no issues. The website made it very easy to choose the right ones and had additional info on fitting to make it all a seamless and pleasant shopping experience. Well done Skylight Blinds.
