“Promot response and refund for faulty/damaged parts”

“I found the choice of sheds to be amazing on the website but when I tried to make payment it flatly refused to accept any of the debit/credit cards I wanted to use. I phoned the company direct to pay by credit card and they couldnt get it to accept payment cards either. I ended up having to go back on the website and pay by PayPal to ensure that the delivery date I had chosen was booked .”

“Ordered and received confirmation email, then nothing. Checked in website & says 3/5 for delivery, it’s been 5 days now either no communication from delivery people or Sheds.co.uk. Would like to know what is happening, hence only 3 stars”

“We purchased the Adley 4' x 6' Overlap Apex Shed for just under £300. The order process was straightforward and the delivery service (by a different company) was excellent. The shed itself was not of the greatest quality, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Of note the two roof panels were slightly warped so it wasn't possible to get them to align exactly as they ought to, flush against the apex beam. And, because the bottom bar of the rear panel protruded slightly on both sides, there is a small gap between the rear and side panels on both sides. And the instructions were confusing in places. The end result is satisfactory.”

“Easy to find way around website and order shed and additional items. However, after submitting order and receiving email confirmation there’s nothing else. Seems very dated in this regard - no order tracking, no progress update, no indication of delivery, no lead time other than ‘1-2 weeks’. Should be able to book a delivery date based on lead time, and order tracking as a minimum requirement. Hopefully will be worth the wait.”

“Not seen shed as despite 7 day delivery suggestion,the first date we have been offered is 12th `June, Which is nearly 4 weeks from date of order. Very disappointing,hope shed will improve 3star rating”

“Shed was not very good. Very rough wood. Lots of splinters, cracks ,and badly put together, nails bent and split wood. Bought a large tin of paint to use and only went three quarter way round. Not my best purchase . Felt very soft and not very strong. Floor of shed was very weak, to put any weight inside after allowing for air flow underneath had to shore up a lot.”

“Good shed once up. The instructions are not great and we had 2 extra pieces of wood which were not in the instructions but we figured it out. The felt tacks are very very poor to be honest and had to go out to buy more quality product. The plastic windows are very misty and flimsy so we’d probably go and replace them with better quality also.”

“The most important part - the shed itself is a perfect size for my needs and the instructions are detailed and helpful. Overall I feel I've ended up with what i wanted, at a decent price. However, a couple of things to be aware of. The doors did not fit the space in the front panel so i needed to use a jigsaw to trim the doors to make them fit. Not a big task - but might be awkward if you don't have a jigsaw or aren't comfortable using one. Secondly, the positoning of the hinge fixings for the doors on the front panel are aligned with a significant part of the overlapping panels, meaning the hinge does not sit flat on the front panel.”

“Lots of garden sheds to choose from but presentation was inconsistent. I wanted a 6' x 4' windowless Adley shed plus a plastic grid base to ease drainage. Tee version with the window offered this combination automatically but not the one I wanted. I had to phone to ask how to add the plastic grid base. Delivery was efficient and well-flagged in terms of day and time. The delivery company is one of the better ones I have experienced.”
