“I ordered a wall standing greenhouse from Sheds despite other outlets offering a lower price because Sheds website showed the product as being "In Stock" with delivery within 10 days. Having not received the promised call to arrange delivery, despite the website still saying "In Stock" I emailed the company to ask for details about delivery, stating that if delivery couldn't be arranged I would cancel the order. I received an email next day stating that the order had been cancelled and that I would receive a refund in 3-5 working days. 5 days later I'm still waiting for the refund.”

“The finished shed looks ok but it's poorly made, bits don't fit together properly and as you have to move it during construction it comes apart from the base, wood splits when screws put in. Instructions are not very clear. Would not recommend.”

“The build quality of the shed we bought was very poor and low quality for the money we spent. Will never buy a shed online again...”

We are sorry that you are not happy with the quality of the pent shed you ordered. If you wish to have a refund, as long as the shed has not been constructed, we can arrange collection of it. “prior to ordering the wooden sandpit i phoned to enquire whether there was a base. i was told it had one and a liner.... needless to say, it didn't! When I called to speak to someone about this, they said they'd check and call me back. No one did. We have since bought wood and plastic lining to finish the sandpit properly. very disappointing as I expected to receive that which was described to me by one of your operatives.”

“Excellent delivery service,friendly and speedy. Item was (Fence gate) of atrocious quality - poor slat alignment,rivet protrusions causing wood splits,necessitating more work and rectifying, as easier and more predictable than returning goods.”

“We ordered the shed, but then unfortunately our circumstances changed so I needed to cancel until a later date. I contacted the after sales team on their website within the 14 days of purchase to request cancellation as per their terms (I knew I should have called!) Guess what...the shed arrived anyway today! so - top tip from me, if you need to cancel, call them! ..Bit disappointed that there system failed, although the shed looks fine and it is not the end of the world, just somewhat inconvenient.”

“I ordered a fence with gate and ironmongery. I wasn't informed that the gate was out of stock and i had to phone myself to confirm delivery date. I have asked for the gate to be refunded as i had to source a gate and ironmongery else where. i have emailed twice to ask for a refund and have not heard back. i have phoned twice and couldn't get through. still waiting for a refund and response to my emails. poor customer service.”

“Delivery cancelled on the morning of delivery. Company texted to say would deliver the next day. I was unable to speak with manager on the day of cancellation as 'not in office'. This meant 2 days annual leave taken. Wrote to manager Clive Bates- basically didn't care for my complaint although says company 'pride ourselves in providing a quality and professional service for our customers'.”

“I think that the shed I have purchased was expensive for the relatively flimsy quality of the panels. Some of the panels don't leave a clean edge. The windows don't have a decent seal, and rattle like mad. The doors are relatively thin. Overall for the price I hoped that I would be getting a strong structure that would last, it appears that things aren't designed to last.”

On our website all the specifications are listed including the thickness of the wood and flooring and any other details the customer may need to know. If you were unhappy with the quality of the shed you should have contacted us and as long as the shed was not constructed we could have arranged collection of it and issued a refund. “Originally ordered the raised bed on the 6th April, the first one delivered was the wrong item, had to arrange for the item to be collected and sent back. Only just taken delivery of the correct item today.”

“I think that the shed is very flimsy and not very sturdy. It isn't in my opinion very good value for money and the 10 year guarantee is worthless after the first year.”

“Overall I was very unhappy with the quality of the shed. The timber looks cheap and there are lots of gaps in the panels and holes. The timber is set to be treated but it doesn't look like it. The door is also warped and I contacted the customer care team but have not heard back. I obviously bought the shed online but if I had seen it in the flesh then I would not have bought it.”

“The shed failed to arrive on two prearranged delivery dates and when it did finally come one of the four packs was missing. The remaining pack then took a further two days to be delivered and on arrival was found to be damaged by water and the packing straps. The OSB roofing material was in three separate pieces and so poor that I had to resort to buying some materials from my local DIY and making a decent solid wood roof myself. I sent an e-mail as soon as the last pack was delivered in poor condition and heard nothing back. I am very disappointed in this product and the service I received.”

“Their Webpage gives a delivery of 2 days however they don't deliver it the manufactures do, so going by the webpage after purchase and checking that the delivery date had been actioned I took a day off only to get a call from the manufacturer that day to arrange their delivery. hence I had to take yet another day off. Shed's contacted me after I complained to say sorry but I wasn't impressed with her attitude on the second call they offered a 5% discount, being at work I didn't work out the 5% and agreed (Stupid really) this amounted to a £22 discount when I'd lost over 10 times that in wages for the 2 days off. If I was to do it again, I'd buy direct from the manufacturers”

“The build quality isn't very precise resulting in a few stray nails, a gap in one of the wall slats and a slightly lobsided roof. The floor also has a bit of give in between the bottom slats when you stand on it. The most disappointing thing was the window quality. I've purchased a pack of sandwiches that has come in thicker and more robust plastic. Had to shell out an additional £30 for a 3mm sheet of acrylic. I don't recall this being an optional extra, I might be wrong.”

“Delivery arrived on time as promised. Installation was rearranged. Then turned up AM not PM. 10 mins later, they left. New team arrived 4 hours later. Damaged shed in 6 places. I've chased Shed 5 times, no one ever rings back. No reply to 4 emails despite checking correct address. Been told new parts are in order but no dates. Shed was bought for a planned weekend for teenagers party that had to be cancelled.”

“One of the battens was broken and the middle upright panel came with the timber on the wrong side. Overall very poor quality. I will not be recommending this product.”
