“Very, very poor quality shed. There are gaps both in the wood panels and between them and the doors were warped and did not fit (see photos), flimsy chipboard roof. The shed was not fit for purpose as it would let in rain and the doors couldn't shut. It looked really cheap and nothing like the picture on the website. Buyer beware, you can only reject this on delivery - even though you can't see a lot of the faults until AFTER it is assembled. If you want to return it, you will have to pay both assembly and disassembly charges so you will be £700 out of pocket before they will collect it. The manufacturers own employees admit there is a quality problem but it's so costly to return the product I guess they are getting away with it most of the time. A very bad experience. Much safer to use a local supplier who has a reputation to protect.”

“I purchased a holt 12 x 6 shed. The product itself looks to be good (I'm yet to build it). However, the service from sheds.co.uk (or DIY sheds) needs to be improved. I had no communication as to when the order would arrive, the courier email arrived 10 minutes after the guy knocked on my door. The pallet was badly loaded on his lorry and and the bracing broken. He didnt want to unload using his tail lift and we had to dismantle the pallet piece by piece from his truck.”

“I ordered a 7'x5' modular pent shed. It arrived incredibly quickly (within two days of ordering), and had no parts missing. In fact, we had more screws than the instructions required, which was useful. Following the instructions provided on a PDF resulted in a simple construction process with the right tools - a drill for pilot holes and a power scredriver.”

“Really poor quality sheds. Everything appears to be rough sawn. Holes throughout. Base not flat. Shiplap not actually overlapping. Having bought a few sheds over the years, this is the worst experience by far. Have attempted to raise a compliant twice, but no response. I would not recommend buying from sheds.co.uk”
