“Shadow Foam is basically the real deal. I mistakenly thought that cubed foam was a product that, according to pictures in the product descriptions, could be cut to hold items of a variety of shapes and sizes. Wrong! So I turned to Shadow Foam, watched the numerous videos on YouTube and realised that this was the product for me. I wanted to create a storage unit for walkie-talkie radios, their chargers and charging unit. Watching the instructional video on how to use Shadow Foam made the job really easy, and whilst my efforts are not quite up to Jonathan Shone standards, I am happy with the result of my first go using Shadow Foam. The things I would suggest to get the most from the product are:- 1. Watch the instruction videos. 2. Invest in the Shadow Foam cutting kit. 3. Plan the job and take your time cutting 4. Sit back and admire your work. So use the real deal and do a proper job. PS. The cutting kit I bought had two left-hand gloves...an email to Shadow Foam....and by return, two right-hand gloves arrived; I now have two rather than one pair of cut-resistant gloves, excellent service.”

“Initially had a problem with the scalpel and emailed the company to sort it out but had no success. Ended up getting one from local shop worked better . I found the foam fairly easy to cut but my problem came when trying to remove the piece that I had cut round . Trying to get my fingers in and pull back the foam I struggled in the end I used a wide blade screwdriver then used the spinner set to finish off”

“Been looking for a good reason to try some Shadowfoam out as it’s always looked good so when I found out they have pre-sized foam to fit in specific tool boxes I went for it, it fitted perfectly and really happy with the result after cutting the tools in 😎👍”

“For all you OCD folk out there.. search no further, welcome to the World of Shadow Foam :)) Is it a painfully long process to cut out precisely? Yes! Does it give great satisfaction tearing through the layers, trimming the edges ever so finely for that ultimate fit? Yes! Is it slightly expensive, but totally worth the end result? Yes! Move from the Shadow into the Light! Order it..FOR DEMOCRACY!! Case = Nuprol Large. Inserts - top and bottom. RECOMMENDED TIP - Apply Carpet adhesive glue spray to secure foam to case”

“Really helpful company they changed my order last minute after I discovered I'd ordered the wrong item. The product is easy to use though you do need patience to get it neat. Jonathan makes it look too easy on the YouTube videos :-)”

“As simple as foam can be this is a really good product it's neat and easy to cut. I found the spinner cutters worked really well and created a nice finish to the base of the foam. This foam helps to create a neat and organised work system. Well worth the investment. Great product.”

“This foam is ideal for your needs if making shadow foam is what you need, it does just whats on the tin, I will say that the guys on-line from Shadow Foam make it look very easy to do - its not that easy but with some practice you will get better. We used a laser cutter to do the initial outline cuts which worked well.”
