“This is a review of Shadow Foam Limited, because that is who I have been requested to review. I know this review will fall on deaf ears because previous attempts to articulate my concerns have. Planting a tree for every order is admirable, however, I'm pretty sure one tree per order is not going to offset the damage caused to the environment by all the flights and road trips the owner and his staff take in order to make YouTube videos and promote his company. I'm not particularly fussed either way whether anyone believes in global warming and as such wants to set about trying save the world, but I do take exception when someone preaches to others, whilst jet-setting all over the globe to make YouTube videos, worse still, giving up the personal details of unsuspecting customers to unknown eco fanatics. The first thing I expect with online scams completely out of control, is the anticipated and expected security of my information when buying a product. Hiding that you are going to give my personal information away to an unknown bunch of fanatics is not acceptable. You may currently have the most effective and user-friendly product on the market, but there are now perfectly acceptable alternatives available from Temu and alike for a tiny fraction of the cost. What surprised me most was the company's hugely defensive attitude when I remonstrated my dissatisfaction with your use of my personal information. If I'm going to get an unsatisfactory, argumentative service, then I certainly not going to pay a small fortune for it!”

Hi Tim, We always take critical feedback seriously and never ignore our customers when they take issue with our product or service. As per our email correspondence, the one-tree-per-order scheme is purely a small part of our green initiative for the national and global goal of net zero. We have many other schemes involved that include our waste recycling, electricity imports and sustainable packaging. The YouTube videos you reference are published out of order, and the videos are created as part of necessary business trips. So if you see a video in the US published two, three or four months after the previous, they are actually a part of the same trip. In a world that is consistently warming through man-made emissions, whether you want to be preached to or not is irrelevant. As a company, we have a responsibility to ensure that we are being responsible through sustainable approaches to manufacturing, packaging, shipping and every other aspect of our business. If this does not align with your beliefs, then you are free to buy an inferior product from Temu. However, if your issue is around tree planting, then I would suggest you avoid Temu as well, as they too have a tree planting program. Further to the email correspondence, we also outlined that as part of our terms and service, we will supply Switch2Zero (the "fanatical" tree planting company) with your email to give you notice of the donation. “70mm Shadow Foam - excellent product, very easy to use, supported by lots of great videos showing how to do it. Used to replace the original foam insert in my Makita drill case to add an impact driver and several accessories, and still have space for future additions.”

“The end product is very good and relatively easy to use/manipulate for a professional-looking result. If you are going to use the shadow foam product, I strongly urge you to watch the short videos on how to cut the foam. You absolutely must use a scalpel blade or modeling knife for the best results. I also used a dremel mini circular saw to smothout the bottom of the foam excerpts. Good luck”

“Excellent product and.service. I was extremely pleased when I found out there was a pre cut kit to suit my rifle case. The foam turned up quickly and it didn't take long for me to get it fitted and cut just how I wanted it.”

“What a great product. I'd seen it on YouTube but assumed it would be very expensive, when I went to order it I couldn't believe the price. The order was placed and again it arrived before I had planned what I was going to do with it.I ordered one of the pre cut items for DeWalt and immediately cut an inlay for my jigsaw that I hadn't had a case for. It's so easy and looks great. I've yet to finalise the remaining space as I don't want to commit to what will be included. That's the only thing to worry about.....which tools will get the shadow foam luxury treatment. Keep up the great work guys.”
