"I bought a new telescope, but it didn\u2019t come with a case only a sturdy cardboard box with foam padding. At first, I purchased a large case and filled it with pluck foam, but I wasn\u2019t satisfied, as it didn\u2019t feel secure enough. Then, I discovered Shadow Foam, which is the same type of foam that originally came with the telescope.\r\n\r\nI found the foam very easy to work with, using a surgical scalpel blade and a snap-off retractable knife. I replaced the knife blades for each sheet of foam, which resulted in cleaner cuts. I cut all the way through the 50mm thickness of the foam sheets. On the last sheet, I cut a 10mm strip from the cutout to reinsert into the bottom of the opening for added support. I highly recommend this foam, as it is easy to work with and provides excellent protection and was also quickly delivered..."

"The end product is very good and relatively easy to use\/manipulate for a professional-looking result. If you are going to use the shadow foam product, I strongly urge you to watch the short videos on how to cut the foam. You absolutely must use a scalpel blade or modeling knife for the best results. I also used a dremel mini circular saw to smothout the bottom of the foam excerpts. Good luck"
