“Great product! Been looking at this for a while, was used at work for tool drawers and crash cases. Got the value pack of 30mm and 50mm. So far just used the 30mm for smaller case, cut easily enough with a sharp pallet knife to get a piece for the case and used the scalpel from the kit for the cut outs. I did find the scalpel blade was very tough going on and was using the forceps in the kit. It may be because the scalpel is new, have used and fitted these blades to other scalpels before. Very happy just got to work out the next case to be done plenty of foam to be working with in the value packs. The video's are a great help.”

“I wasn't sure about this at first, considering how expensive the competition was, but I gave it a try and was very pleasantly surprised. Took me longer than I thought to cut it out due to the different layers of pockets I made in it, but it was easy enough to do with a hobby knife and look good (well, as good as I'm gonna get it it). Delivery was fast and efficient as well. Thanks.”

“I thought the YouTube videos made cutting the foam look easy…but it really is that easy, especially with the Pro Cutting Kit! I’m sold - I suspect a few more Festool and Packout drawer purchases will be in my future, C/W their perfectly fitting Shadow Foam liners! My advice - don’t think about it, just buy it. Watch out though, it’s frighteningly addictive!”

“I found shadow foam to be a very easy to use product. After watching a couple of videos online I dove in and gave it a go. Very easy, very satisfying and I now know exactly where every one of my tools are. I had 4 tool bags full of hand tools and power tools and I have now organised them into 5 dewalt tough system 2.0 drawers. Couldn’t recommend highly enough and I will be recommending to every tradesman I know.”

“The foam is easy to cut, although it takes a bit of practice to cut out and have a smooth finish at the base of the cutout. Recommend that you watch the Shadow Foam video first. A very good product, holds the tools (and other items) well. Also, as you can easily see a space you know whether or not all your tools are returned when you finish. Would recommend without hesitation. I had a problem with one order and this was resolved quickly by Customer Services.”

“I recently bought a number of infills for my Bosch power-tool boxes. The quality of the product is top class, I am really delighted with same. On a side note I had reason to contact this Company as I was left short the cutting kit. My email was answered 20 minutes later and the pro cutting kit arrived two days later, at a considerable cost to the Company. This is the best customer service I have ever experienced in my long life. I can highly recommend this Company, both for their products and service. Vmax.”

“Well it took a while to get it had to Tex u twice finally I got it! Was not happy of what u sent me, 3” thick, I really wanted a piece that the wrenches hold. I paid 20.00 for something that I didn’t want to see. I c on your site u have a special 3/pieces & 5.99 each this is what I really wanted. I could of had 3 of these pieces of the cost that I paid for what I got. Not a way to attract new customers! Thanks anyway! Charlie”

Hi Charlie Sorry to hear you aren't happy with the sample you got from us. There was no note on there of any depth or colour preference so these are sent randomly just to give you an idea of the quality of the foam. I should mention though that we don't have any depth option that is 3" deep - our foam comes in 3 depths - 1.2", 2" and 2.75" but if you check out our Youtube channel we've lots of guides and ideas for layering up the foam to achieve greater depths. We did get your message about having been billed for the import of the sample - that's usual when importing goods and beyond our influence I'm sorry. But hopefully the tracking information you got helped you track your sample's progress from there... unfortunately it does take a few days to ship from the UK to the US, but I'm pleased it reached you OK. It's worth noting that the sample cost only a small amount, it was the shipping you selected to get it to you which cost more, again we do apologise but it's totally out of our hands. “Shadow Foam is easy to use, providing you watch their video first. It holds tools, or other items, securely in draws or boxes. The disadvantage is that if you need a bigger sheet than the standard sizes it becomes expensive. Due to the material (polypropylene PE) most glues are not suitable. Either order the glue from Shadow Foam or something like Evo Stick. Customer Services are friendly and helpful. I had a problem with one delivery, and it was resolved on contacting them. One improvement would be, introduce larger sheets, but at a pro-rata price.”
