Delivery time was twice that predicted on website. Delivery charge very high but the person delivering was excellent, carrying all the materials to the back garden. Materials as described but not as yet assembled.

Hi Colin, Thank you for your review. I apologise for the lateness of your delivery. We had been waiting on timber to be delivered from our mill, as we had ran out of stock. Timber in general has been in quite short supply nationwide due to many mills closing over the Covid situation. Once it was delivered to us, we still had a large backlog of timber orders to despatch and we got to your order as quickly as we were able. Hi Peter, Thank you for your review. Apologies for the wait on your order. I can see that we despatched your order 6 working days after you placed it, actually beating the time advertised on our website of 7-10 working days. Your order confirmation also stated that we would despatch the order in 7-10 working days, and to give us a call if you required it sooner than that. However, I cannot find any record of you calling to expedite your order at all. Once despatched your order was delivered the following working day. Hi Rhys, Thank you for your review. Apologies for the wait on your order. I can see that we did email you shortly after placing the order to advise that there would be a delay. This was due to a nationwide timber shortage, as a result of several large mills being closed over the lockdown period. The timber did arrive on the advised date, and we shipped your order within 3 working days of the timber arriving. I can see that the goods were delivered the following working day of them being despatched. Good value and first order was sent out in under a week but my first order got delivered to the wrong adress (courier was given the wrong address). The staff at scaffolding direct were quick to rectify that and I did get my delivery that day. Figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt so placed a second order placed 2 weeks ago and I have received no communication from scaffolding direct since my order confirmation. I emailed them today asking for an update but Instead received an email asking if I would write a review. I would have given them 1 star due to the mistake with the first order and with the delay to my second order. In all fairness though when I called them about the mistake in the first order the staff were very helpful and quick to find a solution.

Hi Jeff, Thank you for your review. Looking at your first order, it looks like a digit was missed on the address on the delivery label. We apologise for the mistake on this, but as you have advised we did rectify this as soon as it was brought to our attention. With regards to your second order, this will be despatched today (21/10/20) with our courier. Our website does state that due to the current COVID situation, orders are being despatched in 7-10 working days, today being the 10th day. Your order confirmation also states that if the goods are required sooner than this, then all you need to do is give us a quick call, and we can speed this up for you. I have searched through our emails, but I cannot find anything from you regarding this second order, only emails relating to the first order. Tried to order online and was told tube was in stock. Had an issue with the website and called back to clarify only to be told tube was not in stock. Drove from Manchester to depot some days later to pick up 33mm fittings as advertised on the site only to be told they were not a stock item. Bought some tube anyway. Guy that served me wasn’t rude exactly, but was pretty charmless and clearly wishing he was somewhere else.

Hi Richard, Thank you for your review. I can see that your order for the tube was collected the day the order was placed. Ordinarily, due to the current Covid situation, most collections must be booked in at least 24 hours before you collect, and a collection timeslot assigned. So we actually turned this order around a lot quicker than we usually would have. There is also no order on our system for 33mm clamps. If it was the aluminium clamps that you were after, rather than steel, then we do not usually hold these in stock. Hence why they are not available to click and collect on our website. Whilst you are able to collect from us, we do require collections to be booked in prior to arrival, as we do not have a walk-in store. Therefore, to avoid any unnecessary trips etc., we would advise giving us a call before you travel to our warehouse. Hi Siwsan, Thank you for your review. We did ship your order all together, as two separate parcels. Due to how the couriers pack their vans at the depots, throughout the delivery process, it is possible for the van to exceed its weight limit before they’ve got your whole order onto it. This can result in some parcels being put onto another delivery vehicle. Nothing wrong with the actual product when it finally arrives 7 to 10 days to post after taking payment then still waiting for DHL to deliver it's now been delayed in transit twice and still not here

I only received 2/3 of my order, enquired about it and haven't heard back since. Still waiting for the remainder of my order. Over a week later. With such a high delivery charge I expected the order to be complete. If it was a mistake, I would have appreciated a response to my email.

Unfortunately 2 out of the 8 boards were split down the middle, I bought these boards to make some furniture however I now need more boards. It may be best to go and pick them up so you can check them first.

Acroprop: Base plate slightly bent plus wire on pin gets in the way a bit.

Hi Tim, Thank you for your review. I apologise for the way in which this item was delivered. I don’t have any record of you calling/emailing after the goods were received. If we are advised of issues like a bent plate etc. then we can usually rectify it by sending replacements, or any other remedy that is required. With regards to the wire on the pin, this can be removed from the prop entirely, or swapped for a chain. It is just there to ensure the pin is not lost. Because Scaffolding direct put the wrong post code on my order it went to the wrong address. Luckily I was in no rush and it was delivered a few days later.

Hi John, Thank you for your review. I apologise for any issues that have occurred with this delivery. However upon investigation the postcode that was provided on the order was the postcode that was used to book in the delivery. I have checked the online order, the printed off delivery note, and the original despatch manifest that was printed off on the day. All of which have the correct postcode included. Unfortunately after serval good orders this one was recieved in poor condition and all bent. Will think about using again very carefully.

Can live with the additional cost for ordering online but had many issues with deliveries not coming to our address with correct offload system.

Your service was good until I found myself short of 4 brackets one day and needed them urgently to complete a job. On phoning about 2.50pm I asked if you could get them out same day so I could get them the next day. Despite spending MANY thousands of pounds with you the guy on the phone was reluctance to help and of course they were not despatched urgently. That was your loss as I now buy from another source who is cheaper and quicker delivery and I am currently spending thousands with them that you could have had. Why bother asking me to review on how to improve your service when you had a readymade regular customer who just wanted you to go the extra mile.

Hi Philip, Thank you for your review. I apologise that we were unable to assist you on that occasion. Our couriers can show up anytime from 2:30pm onwards, so it may not have been possible for us to be able to get them out on the same day at that time. It would also depend on whether we had a stock take on that day, or a larger backload of orders to despatch. Without any further information, I would be unable to investigate this further.
