Yes, as you have guessed, the delay was due to the fact that the order was placed a couple of days after Christmas, and we were closed from 20/12/19 until 02/01/20. Hi Susan, Thank you very much for your review. Just a quick note about the delivery charge. We do not have our own vans, and so ship all of our order via courier. And we simply charge the customer what the courier charge us. Unlike a lot of our competitors we do not build delivery into the cost of the goods, we are more open with our charges. Based on the size and weight of your order (multiple timber boards), the delivery charge quoted was actually rather reasonable, compared to other couriers who would either refuse the items or charge a premium. “Very happy with raised veg bed kits, good quality, easy to put together. Would be helpful to have picture or instructions for which way the brackets sit on the boards. Delivery was quite expensive. Could save the planet if the screws were in one plastic bag rather than many.”

“Good service from Scaffolding Direct. DHL caused the problems I had with delivery. On line tracking stated delivery due between 16:11 & 17:11. No delivery at 1800 so checked status to see that DHL had stated “Delivered & signed for at 16:11” . Contacted Scaffolding Direct, who sorted it out with delivery next day. DHL appears to be untrustworthy.”

“The products (timber, tanalised raised beds) are very good. Delivery was delayed for a few days due to volume of orders and the courier not collecting my order when scheduled. When I called Scaffolding Direct they were very good at handling my query. The courier was poor - my delivery was not to my home address and they don't seem to be able to contact their drivers once the delivery is in transit. I had to wait all day for the delivery to arrive.”

“Good product, delivered ahead of time. Easy to set up and use. Just a couple of problems, product poorly wrapped in some loose clear plastic, no instructions and one leg bent but I’m not sure how to work with Scaffolding Direct to get that sorted out. Don’t want to sound too negative a note as company delivers well and product works easily and is very secure”

“The raised bed I purchased as excellent! The advice on delivery was detailed and much appreciated. The web site could be more specific in the width of the planks, I could have done with three units to give me the height desirable. All round very good”
