“We paid extra to have our application analysed within few days and yet we had our application results only after a couple of weeks which left us "with no certification" for a few days until we received the confirmation. With that said everyone has been very helpful every time I contacted to enquire about the application.”

“We had paid for an entire year while very little happened and not a lot of help was received from SafeContractor and then we were assigned a pre auditor who then helped us through the process in the second year and helped us to get the correct documents together. Once this was done it went to the full auditor for it to be completed fairly quickly. Quite why this was not done in the first year I have no idea. One thing that Safecontractor needs to do is to differentiate between large companies and smaller companies in that there are many thing that a large corporation has to do that a small company does not, and it was only when were able to speak to an auditor and explain things that we started to move forward.”

“The process was good although on a few occassions when info was provided as requested , it was frustrating when the feedback was that the info provided was not exactly what had been asked for and could we provide something else. Fortunatley we were able to provide the additional info but it is just a little frustrating.”

“The process for applying and the completion of the online application is simple and easy with the step by step walk through. The support from Health and Safety Auditor is great as they guide and support through the process of what information is required to get the application completed.”

“Overall the SafeContractor process goes pretty smoothly. Suggestions for considerations: - Assessor consistency. Records requested this year were different from previous years. I understand this will happen. However, when it does and we request follow up (see second point) info, it would be good to have a better dialogue with assessor - Response times could be better. I had to follow up with the assessor after one week of submitting evidence and requesting follow up. - Out of office not shown for assessor when on holiday.”

“It was very good this time, the auditor was firm but fair. He found things that had never been previously identified. This will allow the development and maturity of ISO14001. He was calm and got on well with him.”

“They are very knowledgeable and keep you upto date with legislation changes Helpful with paperwork if your unsure Always at the end of the phone if needed Only negative Is they want renewal paying. For 4 months before it runs out”
