“Service was efficient but range very limited. We bought someone a voucher and she could not find anything in her (average) size. We will not bother again”

“Ordered running shoes with spikes and paid for fast delivery to ensure they arrived in time for my daughter’s race. The shoes arrived but the spikes they came with were missing along with the key to screw them in with. I contacted the company who said they would put them in the post but, by then, it was obviously too late for my daughter to use them so she couldn’t compete. I only paid for the express delivery to ensure they arrived in time for her race, something I explained to the person I spoke to. They never even offered to return the excess I paid for the fast delivery , let alone any compensation.”

“I’d made a mistake at the end of my order by not entering the discount code for Hilly socks. I emailed you immediately about this but it didn’t make any difference- I’d suggested just putting an extra pair in but it was ignored”

“The product I purchased online had a hole in it on arrival, but when I returned to the store I was told I couldn't return or exchange the item because it was underwear. No wonder they were in the sale! This is the first time I have used R&B and I won't be using them again.”

“Disappointed with service. Ordered and paid for shoes. E-mail arrived no shoes available suggested another pair, which I accepted. However, the price was £9.00 less, but the higher amount was taken. I questioned this and was told to contact my bank. They said it wasn't up to them, it's the seller who should give a refund. Still £9.00 out of pocket.”

“Have ordered 2 items intended as Xmas presents but have yet to receive them. Perhaps use a different courier to royal mail as they are increasingly unreliable. Have asked for items to be despatched via a different method or for a refund so I can buy replacement s. Hoping for a swift reply.”

“Order no X226868 I ordered a pair of running shoes size UK 9.5. I was sent a pair size 10.5. I returned them by post and also emailed Run and Become. A second pair were delivered to me, also size 10.5. I have now returned them too. Please may I have a pair size 9.5. With many thanks, Gervase”

“Product is fine as had similar before. Was disappointed by Run and Become as the running shoes are a Xmas present for my spouse. I had specifically requested the shoes to be sent in plain packaging with no reference to source for obvious reasons. This request was ignored and now the present is no longer a surprise! Not the best customer service experience. Customers tend to vote with their feet! Shame as all other aspects of purchase was first class.”

“One size 6 ladies trail shoe the other size 8 male trail shoe arrived. Size 8 shoe in the post awaiting the other size 6 ladies shoe. Hopeful that the matching trainer will be the correct one sent out as they cost £130. They were bought as a gift for this friday but no luck they will be a matching pair for tomorrow.”
