“Managed to fix 3 of the 4 vintage castors to an old farmhouse kitchen table but the 4th one will only go down into the leg half way, because there is a piece of metal inside stopping it. This means some of the main central screw will have to be sawn off. I will have to wait until some kind person can do this for me. Meanwhile, I’ve placed something under the leg to balance it up. The castors have raised up the table a little, which is what I wanted !”
