The door provided was very easy to install and setup. Very impressed. The only recommendation is to have the cut out already done for the motor cable and manual eye bolt in the box section cover

Requested multiple times for an external override to be fitted with door, and unfortunately one was not fitted. It was because after much chasing the original quote was changed and the override was missed off. After emailing promptly about the issue, i was told that its not an issue as if i had a power cut, i would just have to wait for the power to come back on then i could open it! Not been able to fully close the garage now as worried about being to re open as the main fuse box is in the garage. So garage is insecure, my daughters room above is freezing for another two weeks as this is the soonest appointment available. Not overly impressed. Told the fitter would ring me on the day, but they didnt as incorrect number on system, taken days for the rescheduler to contact me.

I really love my new garage door. It's been in for about 6 months and still looks great. I fitted it myself with minimum hassle. I've subsequently bought additional remote fobs which was very straightforward. Thanks guys & girls. D.Godwin Wiltshire

DO NOT INSTALL DIY Rollerdor They have left the instructions purposely vague and the reference images is not what i received which let to a lot of confusion. Now after only 6 months 2 plastic parts have broken and the customer service will do anything to put the blame on the customer, although the instructions have been followed. They would not replace a part that would cost them pence even though the door was installed correctly. A DIY warranty from rollerdor is worth absolutely nothing!! I'm just glad a more expensive part hasn't yet broken. Below is the kind of response you get from there customer service which is disgusting!!

Dear Mr Fulham, Thank you for taking the time to review Rollerdor. I am sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our response to date however, I must clarify a few points. With a DIY installed door, we cannot take responsibility for any failures with the door when the issue is down to how the door has been installed. Following our conversations, we ascertained that the guide runner on one side has not been installed fully up to the top box. Whilst I sympathise that you feel you should be compensated with a new guide runner free of charge (a part that costs £7.95), our Terms and Conditions are clear that apparent faults arising from incorrect installation are not covered by guarantee. Also, whilst the instruction guides do not specifically say that guide runners must come up to the top box on both sides, this is not a comment we have encountered before. In fact, if you read the reviews left by customers, we are regularly complimented on the clarity of our fitting instructions and so here, I must disagree. I would also point out that we take customer service very seriously and having reviewed all communications, I am satisfied that our team has dealt with your complaint accurately and fairly. I have had nothing but problems since buying a double garage door via one of the distributors of this companies. The distributor did nothing to solve a problem that is known by Rollerdor. Supplied me a replacement brake mechanism eventually, this after over £200.00 of call out charges as well as £30+ for replacement brackets. Dreadful customer service and no interest in supporting me as a buyer and purchaser of their equipment. There are many other out there, try them first..........

On the day our garage door was to be fitted your fitters arrived with the brown door we ordered and rosewood surround, they stated they could not get brown surround. We were not informed of this before so that we could make a decision. We had to have the door done to get the trailer in. So they fitted skirting board which we have to fill in the edges and buy paint for. Not impressed at all

The remote door switches I purchased did not work as they were described in the instructions and by the sales person. I was told no alternative could be offered and to return the goods at my cost I am very disappointed with the product ,I have paid for the switches to be fitted and can only use them manually Paying to get them taken out and returning them at my cost exceeds the original purchase price I feel I should be refunded the cost of these items

I have reviewed our communications and whilst I appreciate that you had expectations of the product, this unfortunately did not match with the technical specifications provided. As per our T&Cs, we generally do not cover the return postage cost unless the product is faulty, which in this case, it was not. This product is designed to fail. Clips used to secure the door to the motor are flimsy and designed to shear if the door is obstructed, (even by the floor?) Mine failed after just 6 months use, possibly assisted by a little frost. Their reply: “The design on your door has a secondary safety system which are the spring loaded straps, in the event of overloading they are designed to protect the door and obstruction by either disconnecting from the barrel or the grey connector breaking. They are designed to be a consumable item that can be easily replaced in the event of door being brought down on an object and not stopped ... If a strap need replacing you can purchase the replacement form us for £9.95 each.” When they break your car is stranded in the garage, awaiting an expensive re-installation.

I’m am a building contractor. I bought a Rollerdor as one of the finishing touches of a rather large project. The install was tricky due to being against a rough sandstone wall. Took about a day to get in place. Stood with the customer for the first operation. As the door rolled down for the first time it showed a dint in one of the panels that had been previously rolled up since delivery. I phoned the company who said they’d do nothing about it nor send anyone out to fix their door. So spent a full day dismantling and rebuilding the door and swapping the damaged panel with one from the top that wouldn’t be seen. I was very unhappy with the situation. I would not recommend nor will I use the company again.

We would dispute that the curtain arrived in the condition referenced although, we tried to resolve this with you when you contacted us by offering to send a replacement slat however, to resolve the matter quickly, you agreed that it would be best to move the dented slat to a less visible position as we were not able to send an engineer out to replace the slat at no additional cost to yourself. Having called to arrange a feasibility check and quote from Rollerdor I was told someone would contact me “in a few days when they were in my area” I waited a week heard nothing and contacted Rollerdor to chase up and an appointment was arranged for the following week. Two lads arrived as per the agreed time, measured up and told me I would receive a quote “within two days” That was six months ago and I’m still waiting. After about a month I grew bored of waiting and contacted a company who could be bothered to let me spend thousands of pounds with them - BIRKDALE- and bought a garage door from them. The door was delivered promptly, (despite them being much further away them Rollerdor) fitted hassle free and works wonderfully. So there you have it folks! - go to BIRKDALE if you want your garage door rather than this shower

Sadly, I can't give a positive review for Rollerdor. I had two roller shutters installed about 5 months ago and I've had issues at every stage. One of the shutters they tried to fit was the wrong size despite having done the survey themselves. Both doors have broken on numerous occasions. The most recent occasion because a cable had been stuck in place with masking tape rather than properly cased in. The cable broke free and then snapped leaving live wires exposed to passers by. The other very frustrating thing is that when the shutters have broken I've often been asked to wait up to 2 weeks until they have an engineer in the area. This means that I can't use my parking space or access the back of my property. I hate leaving negative reviews but I'm really wishing I'd gone with another supplier.

Poor fitting with poor customer service relations after i complained. they left the job unfinised and advised me i needed to get a bricklayer in to point up the gaps..shocking. I suppose you get what you pay for..

Damaged door and unwilling to sort the problem out without further cost. Would not use again or recommend this company very poor service in deed. reply to Rollerdor response below. I explained I was in no fit state to fit the door when originally delivered due to ill health which meant nothing to them. £161 for 8 replacement slate would make just the roller itself over £500! without the cost of everything else included! Absolute joke company I know the truth and you are unwilling to accept the damage was present when the goods were delivered! despite the time that has lapsed. Very unprofessional.

We delivered the self install (DIY) door on the 27 November 2017. We were contacted on 13 March 2018 regarding dented slats. We stated to you that we could not replace the slats free-of-charge due to the prolonged period between the sale date and getting in contact. We did offer to cover the postage of the new slats as a gesture of goodwill.

Well, The door electrical s are very shoddy. It's power is derived via a 13A plug and not wired direct to the circuit breaker. The garage distribution unit has been twisted 90 degrees presumabley to fit the unit itself. To do this one of it's mountings has had to have been removed or broken. Why havn't I told you? Because I thought I'd have a closer look as you wanted a survey done. I hope you will sent round an electrician this time to repair the damage.

When I spoke to the advisor about my measurement they advised the best fit, upon receipt the door was too big as they added the runners although I explained the spacific measurements after talking to there sales team they agreed and offered to split the courier charge. After the door was altered they denied I phoned to sort out splitting the courier charge. I don't mind mistakes but lying is not fair
