“Having been a loyal customer supporting Rohan for many years now , seen many people wearing Rohan before I heard of them.. never felt the need to leave a review so here it goes.. Newcastle branch of Rohan moved so time ago from Eldon garden to Hood Street in the City.. and the lovely staff recognised me from previous interactions in the former shop.. Still wear all of the items except for a pair of bags that I still have but no longer fit my waist (that tells me, I've had those bags for nearly 20 years plus), everything from Rohan lasts for years and years if kept properly cleaned and looked which doesn't take a lot , overall I'd highly recommend anyone who hasn't used Rohan to get out to the nearest shop or look online at Rohan. In my view, excellent quality and durability is the key to holding on to customers. Once I bought a big winter jacket .. and the staff in Newcastle Rohan were amazing and exchanged it for a brand new one after right pocket got a hole in above the flap where velcro rubbed against it wearing away a small hole and was amazed it was exchanged, applaud Rohan 👏”

“Bought 34" winter fusion trousers, a repeat of an order of 5-6 years ago. Latest version is true at 34", but waist is physically an inch smaller than the pair bought previously. OK, but the earlier pair allowed the more easy wearing of heavy winter shirts. Disappointed at material skimming (minimising costs?) 3-4 weeks later bought a second pair of trousers for store pick up - this time never received phone call to pick up (as instructed by Rohan) from store over ten days from dispatch. Went to store, said they were so busy with sale that if you didn't answer they just hung up! Why not leave a message?”

“I purchased a Harbour Coat 2 wks ago. Delighted with it. Extremely well made. Lovely shade of green. Fits well with room for a jumper underneath. It is very warm and cosy, but light weight. I have been a Rohan customer for 30yrs. Love their gear.”

“My latest on line experience was not good, information on the delivery was inaccurate and incomplete. Maybe this was because of the problems Royal mail is having with parcels. The products purchased were satisfactory so hopefully the delivery updates will be better in future.”

“Most of my clothes have been purchased from Rohan over the last 10/15 years. The quality is excellent and the staff are always helpful knowledgeable polite and friendly both in the shops and online. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rohan and often do!”

“I buy Rohan trousers because they fit me, although I have to shorten the short size. They suit me because I have large thighs, so please don't make them narrower. I have a pair of Dry Roamers that I rate very highly but the latest pair are cut differently in the legs which is a shame. I have previously spoken about the colours, I think having Navy and Black as the choices recently didn't show much thought had gone into it. I have several lightweight fleeces full length zips. the best one is the first I bought years ago. It is the best size-wise, shape, design. They are all the same size on the labels but not if you lay them on top of each other, shame.”

“Great quality clothing comes at a price. As a conservation volunteer I bought some Rohan trousers over 20 years ago to work in, and they’re still going strong!! More recently I bought some walking shoes in the sale and they were so comfy I went back for a second pair. You can’t fault the quality of the goods I just wish I could afford to shop there all the time rather than just when they have a sale on…”

“I am a regular customer of Rohan. I started wearing Rohan clothes for work and family trips to Asia. Since then, branched out into UK wear. Always well thought out design and performance, combined with easy care and lightness (important when travelling). One small issue is that I find the jeans not as hard wearing as other makes, but probably because they are more designed for comfort and warm weather performance than hard wearing, so I tend to pick them up in your sales, as I do get through them. Love the shirts.”

“Some great quality products which can be relied upon - and which last very well indeed. I have been a regular customer for many years, but I have to confess that I now buy only in the sales (of which there are many!). Your full-price items can be picked up in the sales (mostly) at much-discounted prices. Waiting for a sale does not require a great deal of patience (5 or 6 times a year?). I'm not complaining (!) - but I worry about the sustainability of this for Rohan in the long run.”
