We deal with large amounts of goods on a daily basis via our physical stores, established mail order website www.rimmersmusic.co.uk and dedicated education sales division with education catalogue (distributed to over 26,000 schools and Music Services all over the country). 
We also have stores on EBAY and Amazon retailing musical instruments.

We offer delivery and collection services for all products to make the process of getting your new instrument and part exchanging your old instrument easy. We use next day delivery and collection services for most items, via various courier companies we have accounts with.

Via these couriers we give tracking information for timed delivery slots (in most cases). We also sell specialist items that require an additional level of delivery service, items such as acoustic upright or grand pianos. These specialist delivery items are delivered by our trained team of experts who know how to handle items of this nature, are fully insured, professional and give our customers the installation with the care and attention they deserve.

We have established Rimmers Music Schools at each of our branches with hundreds of satisfied students of all age groups from 5 years old to 95 years old. Our music studios are purpose built by us and fully stocked with the latest equipment for you to use. We are also London College of Music and Rock School examination centres (and are highly respected by both), although taking exams is optional. We want you to have your lessons and enjoy them, some people like exams some don’t, we will teach you at your pace in the styles you want to learn, or take you through the exams of your choice. The advertised "Buy before 4 pm and get next business day delivery" was a total scam. This promise was also made on my invoice - the promise was worthless.My piano took 8 days to arrive with NO APOLOGY. Telephone calls to so called customer services resulted in evasive and unhelpful promises and emails were ignored. A letter.sent first class, to the Director of Sales went unanswered (of course). I bitterly regret ever having anything to do with Rimmers and will always do my best to put others off ever doing business with you.

We are very sorry this item had a listing mistake. We did say it was in stock and this turned out to be incorrect. The customer was emailed of the error within 2 working hours and was given a choice to wait 7 to 10 days or cancel the order with an apology. We also spoke to the customer on the telephone. The customer opted to wait and it was delivered on day 8 as stated by the customer. The feedback is not completely accurate ie we made a mistake but we did keep excellent communication. The customer is obviously upset and venting anger via a feedback. We are sorry for the delay and error, we are not perfect but did rectify the issue very quickly with the customer agreement. The feedback is very unfair.

The customer details did not match the card issuers records and therefore may have been a fraudulent order. The address and the digits on the back of the card did not match. The customer was emailed with an explanation, the order was cancelled and we telephoned the customer to explain. We have to protect our company and customers from fraud and if this customer cannot understand why an order for 600.00 was cancelled when the card security failed they need educating more about online fraud and getting details correct with the card they have. We cannot afford to take a risk losing a 600.00 product. If the card details do not match on an order of this size I do not think any Musical Instrument store would have delivered the item. This feedback should be removed as unfair.

Item good and as ordered but when you pay extra for postage and packaging you don't expect it to come without postage paid then have to pick it up yourself from the Post Office and pay again for postage. To be fair to their Customer Service Team, one phone every call and resolved immediately.

This feedback is very harsh. Basically the stamp came off in the post. As soon as we found out from the customer we gave the money to them. We are very sorry the stamp came off, but hopefully you can see that it was not our intention for this to happen. Some people are very unforgiving, have no empathy or understanding as in this feedback's case. We have given excellent service, its just a circumstance has happened that no one could have predicted. Very unfair feedback to only leave 2 stars, this person must have no empathy for anyone or anything.

Flick through their listings online and you'll see lots of mistakes in the titles, descriptions and photos. Pictures of the wrong guitars, strings described as round wound when the photo shows flat, etc. This concerned me, so when placing my order for a £470 guitar I emailed to check that I'd be receiving the one in the description rather than the one in the incorrect photo. They confirmed this, and promptly sent me the wrong guitar that neither matched the photo nor the description! They seem very prompt to mail and quick to reply, but quite incompetent when it comes to maintaining the site and fulfilling orders.

We are sorry this customer feels let down. We will check the listing as they have stated there may be errors. We have currently over 22,000 products on our website and occasionally mistakes are made. We do not make mistakes to annoy customers, they are just something that can happen from time to time as we are only human. This feedback is a little harsh considering we will offer compensation, correct the issue and have kept excellent communication with this person. We hope one day they will learn to be a little more forgiving and accept apologies and understand people can only do their best and nobody is perfect.

on 06/07/17 ordered keyboard seat and stand over the internet order No. web33555 on an offer "flashing" buy before 3pm order delivered next working day....I placed my order I took delivery of keyboard on 14/07/17.......i was told it was out of stock .. im still waiting on a seat and a stand for keyboard it is now the 20/07/17 !!!!!! how would you feel????

This is the second time that I have attempted to select items to purchase from your website only to be informed on each occasion that it is not available after they have been advertised for sale. Your website needs to be kept up to date as I have been forced to look elsewhere. You are losing business because of this.

The items the customer ordered were products that we stated were available within 7 days. This was not fast enough for this customer. Tjus feedback is not deyailed enough and a little unfair.

The courier company took the item to the wrong address. That is probably the worst thing when dealing with online transactions. I don't know where the fault lies but being honest I really was not happy. Thanks

After ordering online which stated the item was available we got a refund back before the item was about to be / going to be dispatched as it was not available, no email or telephone contact and left us very close to not getting from elsewhere. Eventually got a call.. Items should not be allowed to be advertised (and was still being advertised on line even after refund when it was not) stating available for immediate dispatch - a poor show!

Delivery was efficient, but unpacking the guitar found it was badly damaged. notified rimmers who arranged collection and refunded money within 3 days. I declined to have replacement sent because of this. I would say I found Rimmers service very efficient but let down by this experience.

Ordered guitar amps via the web site and chose next day delivery ,about an hour after paying got an email saying they were not in stock and would have to order them and delivery would be in seven working days ,not happy had I known I would have gone elsewhere.

The product was absolutely perfect but the reason we chose Rimmers was because the web site said they would dispatch the following day. They subsequently said that they were out of stock and it would be a few more days before the product could be delivered. This made the order a complete waste as we missed an immovable deadline.
