“Colin J and Mark B gave us 5 star treatment. They worked very hard from the moment they arrived at our house. They explained what they were going to achieve and set about protecting the floor with appropriate materials. They were skilful and professional and didn’t waste any time. After the job was completed, they left everything as clean and tidy as they could make it. I would highly recommend Richard and Starling to anyone seeking repairs to their property.”

“Roddy McKenzie, Surveyor inspected our damp issue and was very professional and honest about the solution, reassuring us that we just had mould as a result of condensation and nothing more serious. We are very grateful that he was thorough in his inspection and clear about how we could solve the issue ourselves. Thank you so much. Gary and Ange Dickson, Irvine.”

“Excellent service from this company. From initial enquiry, through to the woodbore treatment being completed in our loft, it was nothing other than professional. No corners were cut, everything was done to a high standard. I would recommend Richardson and Starling as a go to company for any issues you may have with your home that require specialist treatment!”

“Great work from Robin, Jamie and the crew from the Edinburgh Office. Everything was made very easy from the initial call. Meeting Roy for the survey, receiving the quote, agreeing on a start date with George and for work to begin. A few hiccups here and there (mainly on my side) but delighted with the result and that my house no longer smells like a 'damp dog' (as quoted by my daughter). Not forgetting the ladies from the office, Diane and Sandra. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.”

“I had been advised by several contacts that R&S are the best in the field. Their surveyor Roddy McK with his experience and expertise was hugely reassuring that my long standing damp problem could be fixed. David and Jordan put in a tremendous effort to transform my kitchen. No fun hacking off 120 year old damp plaster or removing an 18 year old fitted kitchen cabinet without causing damage to cornice etc. Did I know that finished plaster can be as smooth as glass? They dovetailed perfectly . I don’t believe I got the A Team, I got the A Team PLUS! My Labrador loved them and vice versa ,though she had one major disappointment . …..throughout all this muck and stoor they didn’t have ONE SINGLE teabreak! As to cost ,a loss adjuster was involved acting for the insurer of my negligent neighbours.He was impressed with both the surveyor’s report and the quote and I was not required to involve any other companies.”

“Had infestation treatments carried out by the Aberdeen branch. Davie and Neil were very friendly and took great care protecting surrounding areas. Whole operation went very smoothly with no fuss. Would recommend.”

“Richardson and Starling were a good company to deal with. Everything was handled efficiently from survey to completion of the treatment. Davie and Lee who carried out the work were tidy and helpful. They took care to cover carpets etc. and kept disruption to a minimum. I would definitely recommend Richardson and Starling.”

“From the moment I contacted this company they have been exceptional. They are effective, efficient and very professional. The job itself was completed really well and the team working in my home were polite, hard working, considerate of my home and belongings. On completion they cleaned thoroughly - it was a very dusty and dirty job so dust is to be expected! I would highly recommend them”

“I was really pleased with the response time for the work, customer service given by everyone I spoke to and the efficiency of the work carried out. The tradesmen were well organised. They left my house absolutely clear of all the work carried out. Very impressive. I would happily recommend this company to anyone requiring this type of work done. The price was also great and well worth it.”

“I was delighted with the work done by the joiners Dave and Lee, pleasant, hardworking taking care of existing furniture doing the job efficiently and without fuss and the plasterer Jimmy excelled himself going the extra mile to achieve the finish that I wanted.Couldn't be better Many thanks...a job well done”
