“Very informative worker, very competent work. Not upset by the difficulty of working in an attic full of stuff! Cleaned up brilliantly after the job. Worker was Kostas.”

“The guys were always on time, kept me up to date with what they were doing and told me what the damp problems were and how they were going to fix them. Very helpful. Cleaned up very impressively when they were finished..”

“Great organisation to deal with. The Dumfries team were excellent, Paige, Anna and Chris in the office, the team at the house; Kev, Paul and Bellamy and the surveyor Kris who assessed the property prior to the work. Every stage managed efficiently, great communication and effective customer service. Following completion all guarantees provided and support available if any outstanding issues arise.”

“What can I say I have to take my hat off to the service I have received. Especially Paul, Brian and John the technicians all done in two and a half days and very clean and tidy job. It was nice just to pass keys over and the work was done and didn’t have to be there. Thank you”

“Very professional at all stages of the process and kept us informed on what was happening and why. The damp work was dealt with in as clean a way as these things are possible with the guys putting plastic sheeting over everything we couldn’t move. When there was an unexpected leak in the nearby heating pipes (which were very old!) this was dealt with promptly by the plumber R&S employs. This saved us extra hassle we didn’t need! This is the second time I have used this company and highly recommend them.”

“Dampness in garage sorted out. All organised and work competed exactly as quoted. Bob did an excellent job. He never stopped despite the cold weather.”

“Dundee branch were quick to respond and the surveyor was polite and offered good advice. Install engineer came, was good and kept the area clean and tidied up after him. All in all a good experience 👍”

“I asked for a roof survey based on information given in the home report when I bought this house in May. I had to wait about 3 weeks, less than I expected considering how well respected and busy Richardson and Starling are. The report was delivered by email with details and costs fully explained. Only a minor error in describing the house which was of no consequence. I arranged for the work to be done and waited another 2 weeks or so. On the date arranged the two young men arrived as expected, we're up in the loft for about 2 hours, cleared up and finished by letting me know not to go up there for a couple of hours. Very efficient, clean and effective work thank you very much. I can see why you are so highly rated.”

“First class service and effort from Evan, who worked beyond his hours to make sure the job was complete to a high standard. Evan communicated with us to let us know exactly when he’d arrive, then explained what he would do, what precautions we had to take (some floorboards were removed and the joists sprayed to kill a small section of woodworm), and was friendly and helpful throughout. Very impressed.”

“Excellent service from start to finish. From our surveyor - Mark Kerr, to the guys that did the work - Neil Ferris and Davie Shepherd, the team were fantastic. Neil and Davie worked non-stop and completed the work to a high standard. They were very respectful of our property and always had time to discuss the work and answer any questions we had. The plasterer Jimmy was also excellent. He completed the work quickly to an extremely high standard.”
