“Would highly recommend Richardson and Starling. Everything went smoothly, from Roddy the surveyor’s first visit to the guys doing the job, it was great. Everyone was very friendly and polite, nothing was too much bother They also did a fantastic job. My living room has never looked so good”

“Happy with whole process from assessment to quote to application. The crew, Neil and Lucas, arrived promptly and applied the wood treatment with care and competency. I am thoroughly satisfied with my choice of Richardson and Starling. When you are choosing a company to preserve your precious property, reputation cannot be undervalued as it directly impacts your insurance and product warranty. This will outlive me and I am happy that my choice will benefit my family in years to come. Not all the companies I received quotes from were as forthcoming about product warranty. Richardson and Starling use premium products, and highly trained team members apply the product ensuring the best possible outcome for long term success.”

“Would highly recommend Richardson and Starling, from the initial survey and report for a rising damp issue in our house to carrying out the treatment work everything was very professional. The technicians Dan and Idriss from the Dundee branch were courteous and while carrying out the work protected the room leaving it clean. The other trades both electrical and plastering were scheduled to minimise our disruption and also could not be faulted.”

“This is the 2nd time using R&S and once again, from initial point of contact, until completion of works, all interactions with R&S were professional, courteous, efficient and prompt - there was a clear and informed process of what is happening and more importantly when it was happening. Even when an unforeseen issue was discovered, this was efficiently handled and work scope amended and works completed with no fuss or issues. Work men on-site carrying out the work were professional, clean and tidy - they explained what they would be doing and kept us fully updated as to progress. All in all a great service and we are fully satisfied with the completed works and overall service provided by everyone at R&S.”

“Arrived at the appointed time/date, carried out the survey as discussed. Was polite, kept me informed. Emailed the results of the survey, told me the next step. Arrived on the4 designated day, carried out the work, repaired, tidied up and made sure I was happy with the work done”

“Due to faulty roofing we had water coming into the house and what appeared to be dry rot. From when we called Aberdeen office until the problem was resolved we had outstanding service. Everybody from Richardson and Starling was helpful, knowledgeable, hard working and considerate. Lucas, Kostas, Callum and Earle the site technicians and plasterer Billy were good but the surveyor Mark and crew chief Neil were outstanding.”

“Overall my experience of dealing with Richardson and Starling from survey to work completion and inspection was excellent. The tradesmen who came to treat rising damp were very experienced and pleasant. They did a good job thank you and to all who helped completion go smoothly.”

“Had woodworm in loft area treated, and dealt with 3 members of staff from different departments. Marie, (office) Roddy (surveyor) and Ross (treatment technician). All extremely helpful - would recommend without hesitation.”

“Work done was a damp course following penetrating damp and a historic dry rot treatment that had been left unfinished. Both the surveyor (Melvin) and the team (unfortunately did not catch their names) who carried the work were punctual, polite and very professional. I am very happy with the work R&S carried out and will definitely use them again should the need arise. Thank you!”

“Great job done by all concerned (Surveyor Steven, operatives Neil and Lucas. I contacted R&S Aberdeen about a woodworm issue in our kitchen floor. Steven came out the next day, confirmed minor woodworm issue, and also found some wet rot under the floor by the back door which he said could be easily repaired. Operatives Neil and Lucas arrived 10 days later as agreed, did the necessary to deal with the woodworm and replace the rotten woodwork as required; very fast and tidy workers. The whole R&S service was excellent.”

“Great organisation to deal with. The Dumfries team were excellent, Paige, Anna and Chris in the office, the team at the house; Kev, Paul and Bellamy and the surveyor Kris who assessed the property prior to the work. Every stage managed efficiently, great communication and effective customer service. Following completion all guarantees provided and support available if any outstanding issues arise.”

“What can I say I have to take my hat off to the service I have received. Especially Paul, Brian and John the technicians all done in two and a half days and very clean and tidy job. It was nice just to pass keys over and the work was done and didn’t have to be there. Thank you”
