“Took out the Essential policy. Process was smooth and the app made it easy to complete. Cover seems reasonable for the price (£88). Will update if I ever need to make a claim, but for now it’s peace of mind while the purchase progresses.”

“Taking out Homebuyer Protection Insurance is hands down the best £70 to £90 you can spend during the buying process. Having a safety net that covers lost legal fees, survey costs, and mortgage charges if a seller pulls out or gazumps you removes a massive amount of anxiety before exchange. For a one-off payment on an otherwise stressful transaction, the peace of mind alone makes it well worth every penny.”

“Simple to setup. But a little tricky to decide what level of cover I required for my expected fees. Suggest being able to input legal fees, disbursements and zero risk (completion) fees. And have a product suggested to me, with explanation of cover. Perhaps with an estimated required pay out, based on how far into the property purchase you are.”

“Great value for money and smooth process! I used HomeOwners Alliance to purchase Home Buyers Protection Insurance for our ongoing house buy. The price here (£78) was noticeably cheaper than buying directly from other providers or insurance sites for the exact same coverage. The whole process was fast, straightforward, and gave us huge peace of mind. Highly recommend checking HOA before buying elsewhere!”
