“Delivery was quick and as promised, the coffee quality (Kenya Thunguri) is very good, matched the description, nice roast level and produces a very consistent espresso which is good in the cup. Lovely texture and mouthfeel, good complexity which develops on the palate for a good minute or so after drinking. I didn't want to like Rave if I'm honest, the brand is a bit dad rock for me, a bit patagonia gilet or t-shirt with a suit jacket. So I used other artisan roasters but my last favourite stopped trading so here I am. And Rave has delivered on their promises across 3 separate orders of 1kg of beans so shows you how much I know. Keep up the good work Rave, damn it.”
“Not happy with the coffee available in supermarkets, I decided to look at alternatives. Of the many small roasters out there, Rave caught my eye. I liked the vibe of the company, the passion they clearly have for what they do, and the prices were good too. “First time coffee bean buyer. No idea where to start, so I opted for the safe option of the bundle, to give an idea of what I liked taste wise. Love the signature blend and the Colombian. I have however ruined drinking coffee out, as I’m not sure it’ll match the taste of these beans”

“Making in a sage Batista pro. Making it short and black. Flavour profile is spot on. I’d add a hint of grandma’s apple pie on the windowsill during the finish of the sip. A lovely brew. Not too acidic if you like that and a good depth of caramel and chocolate too. Loved it and worth the cash.”
