Packing and despatch were handled smoothly and efficiently. As the items have yet to be delivered it is a little premature to say more. My insurance payment, which was made on receipt of invoice, managed to escape the attention of the Accounts department and I was unnecessarily hastened for payment about a month later.

This is the first time I have had to ship a part load on a container and found Mathew Winter of Rapid Shipping to be very helpful and understanding throughout all of my many questions. I would not hesitate in using Rapid Shipping again in the future when required.

Everything was fine until the 2 boxes actually got to HKG - then the fun started. The cost of going to get the boxes and bring them back to my house was high due to the fact that the warehouse was miles away from anywhere (and nowhere close to the airport). Not only that, but the 'i'm alright jack sod you' attitude from the HKG agent, meant that there is no means of moving the boxes from the 12th floor to the street level again - other than bundling them into a small lift (classic HKG style i know, but i could do without it whilst trying to move house with a wife and baby quite honestly). The agent also charged me circa 850 HKD to release the goods and for the pleasure of me having to do all the work. In all, it would have been more efficient and probably cheaper to ship the the 2 boxes door to door rather than door to airport (as the airport seemed to be a bluff destination in the end). Moreover, it would have been far easier to just fly out with the boxes on the day we flew outrselves. I cant think it would have been any more expensive - and certainly less frustrating. Sorry to not be more positive - but facts are facts.

Was shipping a personal box out to Saudi Arabia I was supposed to of received my item in November but till now after my box got shipped to Abu Dhabi instead of jeddah I didn’t find it , I have messaged the team Matthew and Karen but now they don’t reply even, ☹️. Very disappointed with them and would definitely not waste your time with them !

Very helpful to start then just received an incredibly rude and blunt response to a question I asked what I was not expecting from commercial manager (MATTHEW) not impressed at all. I was more then happy to use them up until that point

Rapid shipping picked up my items on Feb 23, 2022 from London as I was relocating from London to New York. I paid them in full and have been waiting for 2 months to receive my belongings. After chasing twice in the last couple of weeks, I received a response today saying their carrier in USA have stopped the service so they tried a different carrier who also stopped the service and there is no one at US ports running a service! The US ports are operational and as I have now left the UK I am unable to reclaim my boxes from Rapid Shipping and use a different logistics company. I am now at the mercy of Rapid Shipping and there is no guarantee my items will ever reach me. Is there no authority in the UK that regulates these shipping companies and can help me out?

Having agreed how and when our goods would be packed and transported the plans were changed at the last minutes. This was the direct cause of damage to some of our goods, including one very expensive piece of glass which was not packed properly. Having sent numerous emails to Matthew on the subject he is simply not responding. They also appear not to have any company insurance, no formal company complaints policy or an affiliation with any of the usual regularity associations.

Paid extra for 4-5 weeks shipping, but took 7 weeks. Hidden charges and terms that we were not made aware of.

Having been new at moving abroad and all that it entails, we were initially re-assured by Matthew Winter's attitude which was extremely helpful. Unfortunately, our shipment did not go on the day anticipated (we still don't know why) and from there things deteriorated. We were emailing and phoning the company regularly to try and get updates as to where our goods were. Unfortunately, the phone went to voicemail and emails went unanswered. At this point we became very alarmed. There was effectively nothing we could do. Our goods did turn up (a week late) but it was the lack of communication more than anything that we found frustrating/annoying/upsetting. I would not use this company again and would not recommend. Use someone who communicates with you AFTER you have paid their bill!

As an individual with a small shipment I have received virtually no customer service! My household goods have been on their way from the UK to Qatar for 9 weeks now and I still have no idea when I will receive them. I have only received two emails since the goods' departure from the UK - one with a shipping form and one telling me to contact the local agent. My latest email requesting information has not been answered. It seems that once Rapid (!) have the money, they dispense with all care for the customer. They are the ones who were paid for getting my goods to Qatar but they are acting now as though it is not their responsibility. I would never use this company again and certainly not recommend them.
