“r3 data recovery is real deal amoung lot of scams .they help recover data honestly and reliably. I had a raid problem , and i was not in good situation. I was getting quotations and reviews all over the place running in thousands. Then by pure chance i got in touch with r3data recovery I spoke to andy MD. I initially went to another supplier but after speaking to andy i decided to take my disks to him in person in sheffeild. Oarrival in sheffeild, Andy showed me his lab, and its the best lab I have seen. I am in IT myself, but R3/Andy/his team know what they are doing. Lot of people looking at desperations give mindless quotations and andy charged me what was fair and gave me the service and timelines which were real .I got phone call on every stepp. R3 recovvered my data next day, gave the disk to me, charged me absolutely fairly and i left with thanks and gratitute to andy /r3 AND his team. I will highly reccomend R3 . they have best team, labs and are not people who will try to take advantage. Thank you again. You were right to check out the various data recovery labs nearest to you, although a longer distance of travel the chain of custody was maintained and all GDPR / Data Protection procedures observed to meet your clients requirements. It is there in the filter it just needs the black particles sticking back to the platter surface in the right order.... " The montage is an example of a drive that was part of a failed RAID 5 that came in for emergency data recovery Monday evening, driven up from Western Super Mare by the server administrator who wanted to personally correct the mistake made not checking the Backups which were 20 days behind. First visiting Bristol Data Recovery and considering 2 other data recovery specialists in the Fields of Wales but then continuing on to Security House in Sheffield arriving at 7:30pm. This member disk had failed before the #covid19 lockdown and was in a server room unattended other than remote access. The decision was made to run in degraded mode until a replacement was found. This was forgotten, the extended pandemic affecting staff availability and travel. Fortunately still a full recovery by R3 Data Recovery Ltd Britains data recovery Hospital for Businesses and Consumers. VM VHD HDD SSD The client stayed in a local hotel overnight, whilst two of the drives were imaged and the other two were inspected. Initially, we could not be sure that the most damaged was the first to fail but ultimately it was and a full recovery was possible from the other three once bad sectors had been read from them. The recovered data was collected Tuesday afternoon and the client was able to drive straight back to his offices. Hi Samantha The old memory stick had served well but needed a NAND chip read to recover the data. "The device appears to be dead. I have tried recovering the data using software but failed." Unfortunately, the FAT32 file system was damaged and so only a raw recovery was possible but the data was in good condition and could be moved back into a recreated folder structure. Glad we could be of service George. Your MyBook had put in almost 15 years of service before becoming inaccessible due to bad sectors, possibly as a result of power fluctuations. The enquiry gave a good indication that the drive was recoverable. "This My Book WD hard drive connected to my iMac running Catalina OS can no longer be seen by the Mac. Pressing the circular ON button causes the LED to light yellow and I can hear a faint whirring but not the normal firing up noise like when it was working OK. I have checked the cables and changed ports on the Mac. Also checked PSU is delivering 12V to the drive."

Although we could not guarantee a full recovery, in this case, we can say that we have higher success rates than most datarecoveryspecialists who claim to be experts in their Fields ! "Seagate ST2000DM001 Hard disk drive used as file storage froze on opening document. Checked events in Device manager - device not migrated due to ambiguous match. No longer shows in Bios or on the computer. Taken drive to pc shop for data retrieval via software but no success informed likely to be a mechanical failure as it makes clicking noises and only spins up briefly. Narrowly avoided sending to Fields data recovery before searching R3." For those unaware- Find out more about how Fields Data Recovery Operate. Search Fields Data Recovery scam Those getting recoveries from Fields are unaware that many are defrauded and worse have their Trustpilot reviewer accounts hacked to leave fake 5 Star reviews and that Fields own staff admit their success rates are below 40% meaning only the easiest work is sold as "forensic data recovery" with many victims being unaware that they are sharing their data with a company that is known to use the data they recover for their "own nefarious use". Fields Associates / Data Recovery Services are also posting fake reviews and buying reviews. From your initial enquiry, "force quit whilst using Lightroom of the LaCie / Apple Mac / 2yr old / 4TB not clicking buzzing or beeping" The Seagate-ST4000LM024 BarraCuda 4TB had sustained minor platter damage, this caused bad sectors that prevented the drive initialising. After R3 had made repairs to the ROM and regained control of the heads an almost full recovery of over 99% of 3.1TB of data was recovered without the need of a rebuild or unnecessary work and therefore cost. Another happy R3 client reunited with their photos after their phone died. "I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini that won't charge or turn on. I was hoping that you would be able to help me by recovering the photos that are on it." In this case R3 Data Recovery found it was a CPU failure and required an eMMC chip off recovery. Not only did they recover all of my data from an completely dead hard drive which literally saved my business, but they also had all of the work (5TB) back to me within 6 days, literally driven to my door. When the drive arrived at Security House the drive was inspected:- Opened in CR 5 platters and 10 heads (present) filter and chassis clean minimal track impacts M11 family parts needed please ... We were glad to be of service and that you stopped trying to access the drive before it progressed to a worse state. Although on the emergency 12-72hr service it did take longer due to a number of factors, mainly the amount of data and size of files. but we were able to send the time critical data by secure download during the period as they were prioritised and the full recovery on a new drive which was still an achievement and focus because of the importance of managing your clients with timely updates.. "I have a LaCie Rugged USBC external hard drive (purchased May 2019) which is supposed to be backed up/ mirrored by backblaze. The hard drive started making a ticking sound today and when I tried to move items from it to another hard drive, I couldn’t as it just kept disconnecting itself from my iMac. I wasn’t too worried as pay for Backblaze, but it turns out a huge amount of important files are missing from Backblaze! I’m a wedding photographer, there are 15 weddings stored on this hard drive, tens of thousands of Raw files. Plus 3 fully edited weddings which I finished today. As well as the Lightroom catalogue where all of my edits are stored. I can’t access any. 7 of the weddings I have the original raw files too on another Hard drive but 7 weddings are completely missing. I need to access all 15 but the 7 missing weddings and the Lr catalogue are obviously the most important otherwise I will have to break the dreadful news to these couples that their weddings photos are completely gone. I’m absolutely devastated, and exhausted from working tirelessly and now losing all this work. Please please help me. I have clients that were expecting those galleries today. "

Fortunately you found Britains Data Recovery Hospital www.datarecoveryhospital.com 0800 999 3282 "Background: My daughter spilled her tea on the home PC which resulted in the PC being replaced under our home insurance. The insurance company returned my HDD’s via courier in a plastic bag with no padding. Several of the HDD’s worked when inserted into my new PC, however 2 HDD’s do not work (they just make an awful noise). My insurers have accepted that their new employee did not package the HDD’s correctly.
