“My relationship with QAccounting started with Freelance in the early 2000s when I first started my own contracting business. My business model was simple - I wanted to concentrate on the Engineering aspects and not worry about invoicing, banking, tax etc and Freelance fitted the bill perfectly. Over the years little has changed - Freelance has gone through a few changes ... FW and finally QAccounting but the people I deal with have been remarkably constant - Shelagh Simpson has been my Client Manager for some considerable time and has done a great job in keeping me on the straight and narrow without any fuss or bother. In what is nearly 20 years of ongoing business I don't think there has been any significant disagreement and I have always found the advice accurate and timely and the attention to the day-to-day detail exemplary. Definitely recommended for anybody who, like me, wants to maximise time spent on delighting customers and minimise time spent on day-to-day administration.”

“QAccounting are a company I have been using now for 5+ years. On the whole I have been quite satisfied during this time. Sometimes there are issues/errors etc, but they are normally very good at rectifying things. My current Client Manager (Donnie Robertson) is very approachable and comes back to any queries in good time.”

“My account manager is Donnie Robinson. Of the 3 I've had, he's probably the best so far. Been with qdos for nearly 7 years, as my only accountant I don't have anyone to compare then too. For the most part, it's been very good, but there have been issues. The outstanding issue is the client portal is shockingly bad since the rebrand from qdos to qaccounting. It's a mobile only site so looks terrible on a desktop web browser. Easy to fix, but after 2 years it's never been updated. The other issue I find, is that tax return. They often come out 3-4 weeks before the submission deadline, such gives little time for you to review them and less time for questions and errors to be corrected. Many of my tax returns get resubmitted with corrections. Personal tax calculations are normally fine, but again could be sent in April instead of late November. Expenses can be a hassle. Easy to submit but hard to reconcile. Showing them online would be so much better, it took a good 4 hours to find out why the director current account was wrong, and was due to an issue in mileage claims from over 3 years ago. I submitted the wrong number on the claim form, Qdos fixed it, but didn't tell me so I took out too much money in expenses. Would be better to reject a claim if any errors are spotted. Would also be good if they didn't break up invoices that go over a tax year, and just used the tax date on the invoice instead. It's good that book keeping will talk to you on the phone to explain things as well. I'm well versed in the rules, but you do occasionally get some small questions that need clarification.”

“Joined Qdos in February. Dipul was so helpful with my many questions I had when I was setting up my own limited company. Unfortunately, my original client manager was an absolute shocker! Constantly having to chase for things, unorganized, days/weeks for responses and felt like I was talking to a robot rather than a human. Since then I've been with John Cullion who's been brilliant with everything. Complete opposite to whom I had at the beginning. Hoping most are like John rather than the majority being like the former account manager.”

“A friend, who is already a QAccounting client, requested Dipul Vaitha contact me as I wanted to start my own business as a consultant. From the very first call Dipul has been supportive in every way. He took the stress out of starting my own business giving me the time to focus on my consultancy company. Vipul has directed me to key people within the QAccounting group so that they could best advise me on the process and planning for the future. QAccounting is more expensive than other accountancy firms that I looked in to but the service, advice, tools and assistance I received was great.”

“Sushil from Qdos assisted in me in getting setup. He is has been super responsive, patient and professional. I am still in the initial phase of having everything setup and so far so good. As a constructive review, the Qdos portal can do with more self service capabilities. It seems like the primary way of getting documents and expenses across is through emails and mobile app. I am little reserved when it comes to that method but will see how that goes. Five+ stars to Sushil and how he handled everything though.”
