“As a company, UK Drills are fine but I experienced extreme quality issues with the drills supplied. I purchased some small drills of 2.5, 1.6 and 1.8mm diameter. Very few of the drills were ground correctly and simply didn't cut. I discarded ALL of the 2.5mm set and 75% of the rest. The ones that did cut correctly did not run true and wobbled. UK Drills refunded me.”

“One of the 2 extra long drill bits I bought was in stiff packaging and excellent. The 3/16 was very badly packed and was very slightly bent. Probably damaged in transit. Usable but not great. I also thought the interval between order and delivery was far too long. My overall judgement? Could do better!”

“The service and delivery were fine, but the product was poor. Both the 20mm drill bits you supplied wore out after about 10 mins of drilling mild steel.”

“purchase so that it would arrive by a certain date. But DPD let them down and even lied that they had tried to do a delivery. I have no idea what has happened to the order. I asked for it to be taken back because I couldn't wait I went and bought somewhere else. I needed to finish the task by a Saturday so could not wait for a retry of the delivery on Monday. My delivery was to arrive on Thursday no show or on Friday”

“Drills arrived promptly but were poor quality. Some were so badly ground they would not drill, and even after regrinding blunted very quickly. Didn't expect top quality for the price I paid, but the drills are so bad they are almost useless.”

“I ordered a large amount of flat bits and drill bits. The drill bits are fine but the flat bits twist and buckle even when drilling into softwood, I won’t be ordering these again they are either to thin or poor materials used.”

“The drill ordered was smaller than what the drill size chart showed, in fact I needed a 30 ml drill bit, but it showed the size I needed has 28 ml. But it will still be useful for a different drilling job”

“|I placed an order for 3 items contaning different quantities. At no time did the receipt or any emails show what the items were or quantities of each. I think this is unprofessional and does not help discovering descrepancies early in the process. There was a mistake with the order quantities but it is minor and its possible I made the mistake when ordering.”

“Prices were good but quality universally poor. Because of shoddy manufacturing standards some new bits were effectively as blunt as they might be after hours of use. Adequate for very basic jobs but not suitable for any precision application.”

“HSS drills are fine but the flat wood drill bits are almost useless they twist in soft wood”

“My order arrived quickly, but the drill bits themselves were of poor quality and both broke on the first morning of use on my DIY project. The drill bits at my local builder's merchants were better quality and survived the entire project.”
