“Makita drill - the forward/reverse button broke after less than a month so had to go and be repaired. Had to buy another drill to use as we were in the middle of building decking.”

“I ordered 3 no spin dewalt masonry drill bits on 31/07/2020. They arrived 20/08/2020. That is a long, long wait for delivery.”

“Low quality, flimsy HSS drill sets with a grind that makes some of them unusable for drilling anything tougher than polystyrene. They came in an oily box with razor sharp edges and the drills were at random sizes to such an extent that the box wouldn't close without getting damaged. The cobalt set seemed much better a nd the delivery was fast. A decent price if you don't mind compromising on quality but I likely won't order from them again unless I'm desperate”

“it said HSS on the container but the way the drill went blunt was more like carbon steel. Purchased 2 but together couldnt complete the job”

“I bought 7 drills (2x25, 2x30, 2x35, 1x38). Both 25mm broke after 6 + 9 holes. One of the 30mm broke after 9 holes (15-20cm deep). I bought a new 25 mm in local shop and have used it for 35 holes and it is still working! It will be very interesting to see how the 35 and 38mm will work. Anyhow, I don't recommend this supplier!! //Peter”

“Bought a set of drills from 1mm to 6mm in 0.1 increments. A couple of drill bits too long for metal case to shut readily - drill bit lengths should have been selected more carefully by UK Drills. Drill bits of small diameter failed to drill through brass sheet. Not impressed. Do not plan to buy from UK Drills again.”

“No problem with the company itself, their service was good. They had an efficient process in place to collect rejected items and refunded my money without a problem. Unfortunately the bulk of the items I bought were of very poor quality and had to be sent back.”

“Ordered several drills in sizes 1mm to 6mm. Only tried one 3mm drill so far and it broke while drilling a pilot hole in PLASTERBOARD!. Very poor.”

“Unfortunately, upon delivery I found that the drill had been ground to horizontal rake and the leading points were broken off so it was unfit for boring holes but great for starting fires by friction. However, this was soon rectified by my bench grinder.”

“Very fast delivery and great price forssner bits. Had every size I needed. Only gave 2 stars as the 34x 400mm auger bit I ordered twisted almost immediately after only drilling 3 logs.”

“unfortunately the length of the drill stated includes the shank so when I thought i was buying 100mm sds drills they actually were only 50mm of drill and 50mm of shank. You ought to follow all the other suppliers when they indicate drill length as this is misleading. Cant be bothered with all the fuss of returning them. I just bought them elsewhere”

“I was disapointed with the 21pc Hand Tap Set I received. It was not as per the picture shown on the Web site. The holder for the taps is different from shown and the taps fit poorly in the holder. Additionally there was one 3mm Hand tap missing. the quality of the taps though is suitable and I am most pleased with this. My only issue is cosmetic. I would still order again from UK Drills as I have bought other items and been satisfied with the product. I would also like to see Imperial and BA tap set made available to purchase.”
