“Used the smallest drill bit immediately upon receipt and, thanks to my negligence, I broke it! Have since used the next smallest without problems. The set is good value for money and I like the precision of the tip - particularly good for a non-DIYer like me. Happy to recommend.”

“The drills seem fine from what I have used so far. The metal case is my only criticism. The case is ok but the clips that keep the lid shut are not to be trusted.”

“Purchased some cheap straight shank 17.5mm dia drills to see how they went. (At that price it was worth a punt) They didn’t last more than 3mm. Drill depth. Also bought some taper shank 17.5mm drills. Drilled 12 holes no problem with just 1 drill used.”

“i have used only the smaller size of the drill bits at the moment and they seem to cut well on stainless steel. they are a good price compared to brand name drills at twice or three times the cost . not sure how they would hold up if you really cained them but are good for every day use. i would recommend them.”

“They are good drills with a large range. Not sure about the HSS for drilling very hard metal, they blunt quite soon, but that's not unusual for budget drills.”

“Hi. I was very happy with the efficiency and speed of the ordering process and the advice I received. I have to say I was a bit less happy with the product. I needed these hollow core drills to drill a series of holes in a 9" brick garden wall. It took an age - virtually all day - to drill just one! Eventually I decided to simply chip out a couple of bricks using a small breaker which took about 2 hours. Probably the core drills would be OK on softer material but they are really no good for any thickness of brick or concrete block.”
