Hello, thank you for leaving a review. Kurtail Gold is still the best option for horsetail as regular use reduces the vigour of the root system - which does all the invasive spreading. There is nothing on the market that will kill the whole of the root system in one go - even Roundup which normally kills most weeds down to the root is not effective on horsetail, which is reflected on the label. Kurtail is the market leader in dealing with horsetail for the last 8 years and remains the most effective option available.

“Used product to kill marestail. It obviously works as it has gone black after only a few days. Been struggling with this terrible weed for years and expect it might still come back next year but we will keep treating it annually until its gone for good. Fast service. Good information provided. Quite expensive but worth if it it works and a small bottle either treats a large area or leaves plenty for subsequent treatments. Only suggestion would be some guidance on keeping pets away from the area. I couldnt find anything on the product label about keeping pets away but to be safe we covered the treated area with netting so that our cat (and any other neighbourhood cats) cant come into contact with the poison. Not sure how long to leave it before we remove the nets and some guidance would be useful. It does say that it biodegrades on contact with soil but not sure how to judge with regards pets etc. However I'm happy with the product and the service so 5 stars from me. Thanks very much.”

Hi John, thanks for leaving a review. Moss grows on lawns when grass growth is slow, the soil is wet, or there is high humidity. Excessive thatch on a lawn also provides the damp conditions in which moss thrives. When moss is present, it is often a sign that the grass in the lawn is not as healthy as it should be. “Unfortunately have to give a bad review, due to the actions of the carriers (UPS= Unacceptable performance & service). It took them a week to deliver, 1st they couldn't find my address, then the next day they delivered to my address(the 1 they couldn't find) & claimed nobody in. The following day they again couldn't find my address. Then surprise surprise they tried again & nobody in(despite someone working in the yard by the gate all day). Following a long & drawn out telephone conversation (after trying to get past UPS automated phone system-which cannot tell the difference between a & e-on 3 attempts) I finally received my goods. Progreen excellent company, sadly let down by your choice of carrier.”
