“Took forever to get the ink and had to chase. When you order in time but then end up not being able to print at all for over a week not great”

“Very slow shipping - waited until PayPal Case opened before sending, ignored emails even ignored message posted on their website. Will not use again, wayyyy too slow.”

“Have ordered twice. Both times good arrived okay, but the customer service is non existent. They don’t reply to emails. I can’t get a VAT receipt which makes it impossible to keep making business purchases from them. This should be easy stuff. If I hear back from them I’ll amend review score.”

“Although the ink cartridges work fine they took two and a half weeks to arrive. I used every available option several times to get some information on my order but communication from them was non existent hence I wont be using them again”

“Well I have only just recieved my inks having ordered them 4 weeks ago. 2 to 3 days it says. Pretty poor service I'd say plus I messaged 3 times with no reply and tried to use your chat facility to no avail . Probably won't bother again”

“My order took nearly a month to arrive (if not longer). I tried contacting them via email and web chat with no response at all. I had to go and purchase the same ink elsewhere and that arrived next day. I won't recommend this company to anyone and will not be using them again, myself. I will also be returning this order for a refun”

“I placed an order that was never received despite 'Delivered' being the status shown when I track the package. I have tried to contact Printer Ink Direct via email, Live Chat and an online form but nobody has replied to any of these, so far. I normally use a different company for our printer ink but thought I would try PID. Unfortunately, I have found that the customer service side of things isn't quite up to the usual standards of some competitors.”

“Several first printing attempts with new ink failed to print completely. After more attempts the black print showed but colours were very faint. At best the colours are pale. Is this ink supposed to perform better and be compatible with Epsom XP442?”

“Printer ink direct are impossible to get hold of. My items work just fine and I would buy them again but trying to get them to send me an invoice for our account department is just hard work. If you are not going to reply to emails Printer Ink direct then at least put your number on your website. Products - Great Printer ink direct - Needs to improve on the simplest of things. REPLY TO MY EMAILS.”

“Not worth saving money by using this product. Fitted as per normal doesn't print every well even after a couple of alignment prints and head cleaning. I will not be using this product again.”

“Order failed to arrive within the timeframe promised. Sent email requesting an update but no response. Eventually chased the order through Paypal and the item arrived within a couple of days. OK the cartridge works but still no word of explanation or apology for delay. We all make mistakes but the lack of communication in our electronic age is unacceptable.”

“Good price and quick despatch, but unfortunately I paid double price for next day delivery but courier didn’t deliver. I emailed printer ink direct, but 5 days on, and still no reply. The cartridges initially didn’t work in my printer, it took a while (3 hrs) to actually find the problem why the printer wouldn’t print in colour. Turns out, the bottom ink port was no being punctured by the printer on insertion. The cartridges really need to be pushed down extra firmly to engage. Very disappointed, will not be switching to this supplier long term. :(”

“I had a faulty cyan cartridge and notified them 10 days ago and have not had a reply back as yet. Also sent a message on the online chat service to chase this up but the chat did not respond. Also cannot find a telephone number to call them on.”

“I have sent 3 messages to printer ink direct but still no joy .I had 4 packs of the ink cartradiges the only 1 that does not fit is black but they have still not replied.My son needs the printer for his up coming exams .Its an epson printer could someone pls sort it out for me thanks.”

“I ordered a couple of toner cartridges for an HP printer from you last October. The price was very good and the delivery time quite acceptable. A few weeks ago I tried using them but only one worked, which indicates there wasn't a problem with the printer itself. I have tried three times to contact you about sending a replacement but all I've had so far is an automated reply, which I think is pretty poor customer service. I would have given you 5 stars, but I think back-up customer service is as important as the product and the delivery time, so I'm afraid it's only two!”

“Longer delivery than I expected. I then needed to return goods because I had to change my printer because of damage and therefore could not use the ink. I asked for a return form twice but never received an answer. Ref order No 327950”
