“Powerbug is quite quirky... I would have liked a soft start feature. I would have liked a variable speed within a speed setting as opposed to discrete speeds. But... all those downsides are more than cancelled out by the DHC and Parking Brake - I walk downhill next to my PowerBug and watch my fellow golfers struggling to hold on to their trollies.”

Hello Kay - We must simply apologise for the delay with your order. As the charging of your new battery didn't seem quite right we thought it was only best to replace both your battery and charger as a precaution. “I purchased a GT7 in June 2016 and everything was fine until all of a sudden my trolley just kept tripping out. After speaking to a chap called Christian, powerbugs tech guy, he couldn’t do enough to help and eventually sent me a new part which rectified the problem. This is my second powerbug, and things like this will certainly persuade me to purchase a third one. (But not for while)”

“Battery failed after 7 months it cost me to return battery it was agreed it was faulty but there was no reimbursement battery was replaced I asked for an upgrade to a lithium battery but was only offered 12.00 pound for the faulty battery I think as the product was faulty I should of been offered the full amount and my 8month old trolley is slanting to one side and all very loose I was sent some self tapping screws to repair it but its not worked so I've bought a powercaddy I will never use powerbug again WHAT A SHAME THE LAST TROLLEY I HAD WAS FAULTLESS I USED IT FOR 7 YEARS BUT NOW VERY DISSAPOINTED”

Hello Dave - Sorry to hear you have decided to switch brands. I would just like to let it be known that you request was for us to upgrade your Lead Acid battery to a Lithium battery for free. Please bare in mind there is almost a £200.00 price difference between a Lead Acid and a Lithium battery. We done our best on the pricing and offered quite a substantial discount but it would be impossible for us to offer a free Lithium battery at a huge loss to ourselves. The hinge assembly can easily be rectified by giving the technical team a call on 01753 857 838 so that we can further understand the problem with the hinge and then work out the most efficient way possible to get your trolley up and running again. All the best, and we hope that one day you return to PowerBug :-)
