“Attractive small light, ideal for areas far from an electric plug. Good background lighting. Seems very well made. However turning it on without the remote control is fiddly as it is difficult to find the switch without removing the shade and the light itself from the base. The remote control is the answer as long as you are near to the light, but ours does not work much more than 3 metres away, so we cannot for example turn on the light from our bed. Maybe the battery provided is old?”

“Lovely shape lamp, nice glaze and good size. 4/5 stars because the colour online isn't representative of the actual colour. All the pics of it online have the colours 'pumped up' so the lamp looks like it has a brightish but still subtle turquoise look to it. In real life it's a slightly drab but neutral blue-grey. I'm going to add a brighter shade to it and keep as I love the shape. I haven't had this colour issue with other websites.”

“We recently took delivery of the Phileas rechargable table lamp, in antique brass. This followed a large order of numerous wall lamps, picture lights and such like. All very lovely, but it's the rechargable table lamp that has delighted more than any other. It's a little gem. Small, of course. With bags of personality. So taken are we with the Phileas that we've decided that we need many more, to be dotted round the house, hither and thither, much like the lamp's well travalled namesake, Mr. P Fogg. Five stars.”

“First of all I never write reviewsbut i had to this time!!,I've just taken delivery of a large vintage bulb, really dreaded opening it in case it was broken, all I can say it's stunning arrived packed so well and what a bulb looks amazing now it's in place, I'll definitely be buying from POOKY again!! “Poorly have a wonderful choice of table lamps. The smaller Bonello lamps matched with ivory dupion silk shades are perfect in our dining room. They arrived very quickly and had been expertly packaged.”

“Great products and delivery is well organised and reliable. I had a couple of questions about the light fittings I was interested in and these were answered promptly Ony gripe is stock levels - I was interested in 6 of the same fittings, only 3 were in stock and no more due to arrive for a couple of months. Shame as I'd have bought them and more straight away. But the design is good and quality is high.”

“Pooky is ALWAYS my first call when I need lights! The wide range of varieties and good varieties. Everything is so buyable and the delivery options are very reliable.
