Pooky offers a great range of interesting designs. However, it is disappointing that customers in Northern Ireland are not afforded the same level of service as those in other UK regions. If retailers are happy to sell and deliver to customers, it shouldn't be difficult to provide for customer-friendly after-sales service (e.g. returns) for all. Most retailers do!

Hi Martin, Thank you for getting in touch with your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the returns service for Northern Ireland. Our normal returns process does run in Northern Ireland, and our courier Yodel has quite a few drop off locations. We find that most customers can get to a drop off shop locally, however we understand that this isn't possible for everyone, and we do apologise for this. I understand that your item exceeded 60cm and fell under our DPD criteria. Unfortunately, our DPD account does not cover areas outside mainland UK, which is why we couldn’t issue a return label for you. We will be sure to pass this feedback on to our couriers, and continue to review our returns process so that we can make this as efficient as possible for customers. Lovely candle sconce, high quality and looks more expensive than it is. Delivery not a great experience, first one was returned to pooky for no apparent reason, then there was a delay in sending a replacement. Overall I would but again but the delay was frustrating.

I'm thrilled to bits with my new rechargeable wall lights. They look lovely. I was expecting the lights to be a little brighter than they are, but they still look good with their pink and cream ikat shades.

I recently bought an installed a Roddy ceiling light which is a lovely design and finish. However, you need to be an octopus with the hands of a squirrel to fit this to a flat ceiling! The insulation box for the cable connection is too thick for the space provided so I had to recess this into the plasterboard in order to get the lamp flush against the ceiling. Why can’t someone at Pooky test fit these before customers have to?! Very fiddly.

We are sorry to hear that you had some issues installing this product. We can confirm that the insulation box/cables would need to be chased into the ceiling by an electrician, as there wouldn't be enough room to fit them into the back of the light. This is the same with the majority of our ceiling lights and pendants, and all of our designs are tested/installed before we release them. We will be sure to pass on this feedback to our production team for you, so that they can look into ways of making this easier in future. Lampshades good delivery crazy. The courier company did not wait, they sent an e-mail saying they would come back 4 days later, which was too late as I would be on holiday. So I rescheduled delivery to a new address. They then came back an hour later but because I had changed the address they would not hand me the lampshade. So Pooky called no they still could not give me the shade, so Pooky had to contact the courier to ask for the shade back and send me another one next day delivery. Talk about a waste of time and not to mention the carbon footprint!!

Unfortunately once the address has been changed with DPD the driver is then unable to deliver to the previous address, as this is no longer the delivery address selected. This is a policy that DPD have, and this would be down to them as to whether they can deliver to an address once it has been changed. We will be sure to pass on your feedback to DPD, in the hopes they can take this on board and improve this going forward. Nice lampshade and arrived within 5 days of ordering. First saw it in a showroom in Batley and was a little disappointed I couldn't purchase it there and then as it was an off the shelf design. It's good quality though, if not a little expensive but I couldn't find one a liked elsewhere.

I would recommend Pooky as a great company to deal with. I had questions before my purchase. It was easy to find a contact email address and my queues were answered very quickly. Unfortunately the lovely shade I bought didn’t fit where I had hoped so I had to return it. There were no drop off shops locally, and as I don’t have access to a car Pooky organised a collection. Again they responded quickly to my query and all their communications were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely shop with them again.
