“Good communication after ordering. I was very pleased with the wall lamp, however, the bracket was at a slight angle to the wall fixing. This made the lampshade look wonky. We solved the problem by using a watch battery between the bulb and the shade. I didn't want to send the lamp back for this reason as appreciated it was probably handmade. The addition of the brass remote cover was a lovely surprise.”

I am sorry to hear the bracket was initially at a slight angle, and you are correct in saying that our items are hand-made, so sometimes, these types of things can occur, but they are usually very fixable - as you have been able to do so yourself! Hi Ellie, Thank you for leaving a review. I am sorry to hear your lamp and shade arrived not as expected on the website! We do everything we can to try and ensure that colours of our products are represented faithfully online. But it is unfortunately a fact that different devices (PCs, Macs, tablets, mobiles) all have different technologies and colour set-ups and this can result in colour differences depending on what device you view the product on. If you wanted to make a future purchase, but were hesitant due to colour differences, drop us an email and we can have these pictured directly from our show rooms in a natural lighting and forward these over to give a more accurate representation of what the products look like in situ. “Absolutely love these lights. So much easier than having to ask an electrician to install and chase through brick work and plaster. Definitely the way forward. They are so lovely just as they are that we didn’t bother buying shades to go with them.”

“I've bought quite a few pieces from Pooky and suffice to say I'm a little bit addicted. The products are generally great quality and the glow that resonates from their beautiful lampshades is superior to other brands. I'm in love with my cordless lamp which I bagged in the recent sale. I have, however, received a lamp base that was glued together wonkily and another lamp base was delivered smashed into pieces, although this must be DPD's fault. And they are very expensive.”
