“Unfortunately, the lights which were the same design and the same wood finish did not match each other. They were also a lot darker than the photographs on the website, so they didn't match the room they were supposed to be for. I've had to return them. On the plus side, the customer service response was quick and helpful. Nevertheless it was still an inconvenience to have ordered lights which then had to be returned.”

“Lovely, different, yellow shade, bought to accent our newly re-decorated bedroom. I love the shade, but sadly made the wrong colour choice and need to reorder. This is bound to happen from time to time when ordering on line, when it is hard to be sure of the precise colour. I've found the returns process very straightforward, and am awaiting my refund - which could ideally be quicker - before ordering my new selection.”

“The wiring cover of one of our new wall mounted light fittings was frayed when it arrived, but we contacted Pooky and they were helpful and are kindly sending out a replacement. The lap shades which we also got were lovely!”

“I ordered a lamp stand with an interesting marble base. However, the colour and pattern of the marbling didn’t quite work with my other interiors. It may sound a little fussy, but for a pricey item that I excpect to use and look at on a daily basis for several decades I wanted to get the look just right! So, I contacted customer service to see if they had another lamp base with a more swirly marbling. They were quick to reply, quick to send me a second base to make a comparison, and impressively quick in arranging a DPD collection to my address for the return of the lamp base to be sent back to their stockroom”

“I purchased two sets of two lampshades from Pooky, the first I have ever purchased. 2 were wizards thin types and I can't remember the name of the other 2 but they are so well made, top quality, packaged really well too. The Delivery was even early! I would highly recommend.”

“Bought a fabulous mirror in the sale, the smaller Cairo white washed stepped mirror. Such good quality and “mirrors” our architraving around the door and window frames if you can excuse the pun! A steal at £84 instead of £280.”

“Light was OK, although the holes bored through the glass shade for the fixings were very crude with significant flaking around the holes. This can't be seen, but still does not suggest good quality. The real surprise though was the amount of plastic and polystyrene packaging used. I recently bought an Anglepoise lamp and they managed to use just formed card and paper packaging - why can't Pooky?”
