Thank you for your comments. The 3840 cord operated track from Silent Gliss is one of the most efficient and attractive tracks on the market benefitting from a flush top fix clamp that allows no gap between the ceiling and track.

“With one exception your service was excellent. That exception was the delivery: first the message that the chance to give delivery instructions could only be made on the day of dispatch was not provided by the courier until the day after dispatch; second, although the courier provided banner information on Friday that delivery was to be "today", delivery was not made until Monday. I note that your parcel was clearly labelled "overnight". We, you and I (as the person who ultimately paid) were cheated.”

“The courier , DHL, claimed to unable to access my address despite the fact that there is a sign on the road at the end of short drive and we are at the heart of the post code area. It was suggested I might like to pay for a redelivery but I opted for a full refund.”

“Ordered a metal, wave track. Ordering process simple. Sent out promptly. Whilst we had a tracking code would have helped if it had an ETA for courier and not just "out for delivery". When the track arrived it was very well protected inside a robust cardboard tube. Length was exactly as per the order. Fitter had no problems installing the track.”

“I ordered a pole with brackets. It arrived without brackets . I only had a few days to fit the pole at a holiday cottage I had travelled to . As the brackets weren’t sent I had to go and buy another pole with brackets. When I phoned to ask about why the brackets were not sent there was no apology . I was told that sometimes brackets were sent out at a different time to the pole,( sounds v unlikely!) . I have never received the brackets . V poor customer service . Will not be using this company again. I still have a pole that I can’t use .”

Hi Lucy, The pole was delivered very promptly (four days after you ordered it). The brackets could have been sent the following day, so you would have received everything within five days - well within our quoted delivery time of 5-7 working days. The issue here is that you did not check the delivery when you received it, so when you arrived at your holiday home, there wasn't enough time for us to send them to that address because you were only there for a day or two. We take some responsibility that the brackets were missing in the first shipment (mishaps do happen at the busiest time of year, a week before Christmas), but if you had checked the order when you received it, we'd have been able to resolve this with no problem. Given this, a 1 star review seems a little unreasonable, so hopefully you can change that. We never shipped the brackets because you didn't tell us where we should ship them to. Of course we'd be happy to send them now - please send us an email at info@poledesign.co.uk to confirm the address. Regards Sam
