I was disappointed that the delivery was delayed and incurred extra cost just becaue the driver could not reach the recipients on the phone. There was parking and the door was open but he drove off without delivering it. So I am not very impressed.

Hello Hugh, thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. First off, I want to say I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble with your delivery, especially as it looks like this is the first time you've used our services. We're all about making sure your items get to you safely and on time, so it’s disappointing to hear we missed the mark. I want to explain a bit about our process, not to make excuses, but to share our side. We need explicit permission from the bill payer to leave a pallet, mainly to make sure it ends up in the right hands and doesn't lead to any issues down the line. Despite our efforts, it seems we couldn’t get through to yourself or the delivery point in time, so the driver had to be turned away; our drivers are on tight schedules and are allocated just 15 minutes for each drop-off and collection, which is why it's so important for somebody to be contactable and on-site ready to greet the driver when they arrive. Unfortunately, our drivers aren't able to leave their vehicles unattended or enter any properties. This is a safety and insurance requirement, ensuring our team and customers are protected. Regarding the redelivery charge, it's something we never like to impose, but it covers the fuel, the driver’s time, and the space used on the vehicle. However, we're eager to make things right, so as a gesture of goodwill, we've just processed a refund for the re-delivery fee. This should be back in your account within 3 working days. I want to make sure you know we're taking your feedback seriously, and we’re looking into how we can make our communication clearer on the confirmation page, and in the booking confirmation email, ensuring all customers know that someone must be available to meet the driver when they arrive. Very happy with their delivery. Would have been good to know in advance that their palletising/wrapping service taking an extra day happens off-site - I can't walk, but would have done it myself quicker anyway, as I had a pallet here. :d A lot pricier than a man with a van, but also a whole different league meaning I didn't lose sleep over the welfare of my consignment.

Our drivers run on tight schedules, juggling multiple pick-ups and deliveries daily, with just 15 minutes allocated for each stop. This tight timeframe makes it tricky to both stack and wrap pallets on-site - and do a proper job of it! To keep things rolling smoothly and ensure your goods are safe and secure, our drivers might stack your items on the pallet at the collection point but take them back to the depot for that final wrap-up. This way, the drivers stick to their schedules while your items get the care and wrapping they need to stay solid during transit. We have an account with DPD who simply could not do this Pallet collection for us. We found Pallet on Line who completed this job for us with total professional and speedy service and we will now be using them again for all our pallet consignments.

Service as described. However hidden charges of vat at checkout which don’t show. They only show on your bank statement from the transaction which I wasn’t pleased about as there was other companies much cheaper out there when this was added on. I have raised a dispute with my card provider about this as I have a screen shot of what I was supposed to be charged

Hi Adrian, Thanks for choosing our pallet delivery services. It's great to hear you had a good experience with our service. About the pricing, the checkout process does mention that prices are exclusive of VAT, and you can find this info in the footer on every checkout page. Also, the total cost, including VAT, is clearly shown in bold on the final page before you complete your payment. So, there shouldn’t really be any surprises leading to a chargeback since all costs are upfront before you agree and book with us. Like many other businesses, such as GoDaddy.com for example, we list prices without VAT at first because we mostly work with companies, and that's the norm for them. We really appreciate your understanding and hope to serve you again soon.

This is the second time you have requested my review. I did not give you a 5 star review because (a) the goods were collected a day late and (b) the driver had not been informed that I had requested and paid for your Pallet and Wrap Service. However the driver was very cooperative and was able to help and fortunately had a Pallet on his vehicle. Also on the Plus side, my goods were delivered on the correct day and everything was in good order.

Pallet was packed very well, it had plenty protection, I don't know what else I could have done. It was marked fragile all over, It cost a lot of money and yet still got damaged.

Pallet collected and delivered to destination on time and with no problems. Cost effective, efficient. Pallets are easy to track. When booking I received no confirmation email which was a bit of a concern, but I needn't have worried. Good service. Recommended.
