“A wonderful program for in-depth exploration of an area of student academic interest. Our son thrived, learned, grew more confident, and made lasting friendships with students from around the globe during his time with Oxford Scholastica in England this summer. It was a fantastic experience! We would highly recommend it.”

“As a parent, I was anxious to know how my 14 year old daughter would find the Oxford course. She thoroughly enjoyed the engaging lectures and the course content. The best part was her interaction with a real patient. This course helped my daughter to decide Medicine as her career choice. “My daughter, who is 17 years old, recently completed the Experience Medicine Academy offered by Oxford Scholastica Academy. To say she had a great positive experience would not capture how truly remarkable her two weeks were. She enjoyed the academic side of the program which cemented her decision to study medicine in the future. Socially, she enjoyed meeting friends from around the world with whom she remains in contact. Finally, the experience of being "out on her own" provided her the confidence and knowledge that she will be able to successfully conquer university next year. She continues to tell about her experiences to friends and family even after a month has passed. “My experience at the Oxford Scholastica Academy was one the best I've ever had. I was in the medicine program and I learned not only about various aspects of medicine, like the respiratory system and gastrointestinal system, but also got to put what I learned into practice, like when we learned to give stitches with a banana and dissected a heart. We also got to talk to multiple real patients who talked to us about their diseases. Furthermore, while I was there I got injured (my fault), and the team took such great care of me to insure the best and fastest recovery possible!”

Throughout the two weeks I’ve spent with colleagues (and now friends) from across the globe, I’ve been able to experience the world of engineering through the eyes of an actual engineer! “I adored my time at Oxford Scholastica Academy, both social and academic! This program was the closest experience I've had to college life---living in dorms, meeting new people from around the world, taking a combination of lecture and discussion-style classes, and completing a research study---and it made me less apprehensive and more excited to go to college next year. I found inclusive, energetic, loving friends and went on loads of adventures with them, both as part of the itinerary and in our free time. I only wish I didn't have to say goodbye to everyone.”

“I loved it i had a wonderful time even though it was online. i think the teachers are very passionate about their subjects which helped a lot. i have a hard time focusing online but i haven’t with the oxford scholastica academy. i had a great time, thank you”

“My son completed a medical internship this past August at Oxford Scholastica. It was an experience unlike any that he's ever had. The workload was a good but fair amount and it was great watching my son put his heart and soul into his portion of the research paper. In my opinion, this program was a good indicator of what university essay writing will be like and for that we are extremely grateful. My son enjoyed working with his team mates and, as a side note, it was interesting for him to experience coordinating conference calls with his group as the team was spread across many time zones and everyone had busy schedules as well. In this regard it was a great example of what one can truly expect in everyday life with so much of it now via zoom calls, etc. The team worked well to support each other in their respective areas of the research paper, offering a hand to one another if needed, a sounding board if required, and correspondence with the instructor was equally great. Hats off to a wonderful experience yet again at Oxford Scholastica !”
