Very poor customer service. I bought a pair of Keen Targhee 3 boots from OutdoorGB. Unfortunately as I had recently had open heart surgery and because further complications ensued I was unable to make much use of them in the following year. They fell apart after 13 months. OutdoorGB would not help saying only that they were out of guarantee by one month. My photographs showed clearly that they had been used very little. They were wrong about the law as the boots were not fit for purpose. Their lack of interest in helping a customer is shocking. Equally poor is their wrong application of consumer law.

Court Action Underway - Still Feel They Can Be Trusted? The above is a review of your company on Trustpilot, we're working through others also, and will try to contact as many as possible while researching your company. This adds time and expense to my valid claim, of which you are directly responsible for, and will be part of my claim. CAB having looked at this concluded (take legal advice from a professional legal source, I am not responsible for your legal respondents or counter claims) as below and advised I "take all communications in reply as hostile" and lodge with my legal representation, which I have done so this morning. From a legal perspective, OutdoorGB have breached the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 by: Failing to deliver the goods in a satisfactory condition, as the head torch was broken when it arrived. Failing to offer a full refund within 14 days of receiving the faulty goods back, as the customer had to wait for a warranty assessment and chase several times for an update. Failing to provide a free returns link for the faulty goods, as the customer had to pay for the postage and was not reimbursed. (relevant to my personal experience, continual dialogue resulted in a link being sent after numerous emails back and forth) From a moral perspective, OutdoorGB may have acted unethically and unprofessionally by: Ignoring or dismissing the customer’s complaint and evidence of the fault, as the customer had to email them on the day and send them a photo of the crack. Providing inaccurate or misleading information in their response, as they claimed they had sent a free returns link when they had not. Failing to apologise sincerely and take responsibility for the damage, as they blamed it on the transit and did not acknowledge the customer’s frustration. OutdoorGB could have done better by: Checking the quality and condition of the goods before dispatching them, and ensuring they were properly packaged and protected. Responding promptly and politely to the customer’s complaint, and offering a choice of a refund, repair, or replacement15. Sending a free returns link or covering the postage costs for the faulty goods, and processing the refund as soon as possible. Apologising sincerely and taking responsibility for the damage, and offering some compensation or goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. I am pursuing a legal action against you for your consistent and flagrant breaches of laws and ethical business standards. I will present further proof and information in this thread, which will support my legal claim against you for both my case and your regular mistreatment of many other customers. You should consult a legal professional before you respond to this email or any following messages. I will rely on all the documents and communication to back up my case and allow legal officials to settle the dispute in my favor. I require a full refund and compensation for my time and expenses that I have squandered because of your dreadful service. Time spent reaching out to others with similar experiences will also be included in my claim, as this is a necessary process to build a strong and irrefutable case, and ensure justice prevails.

Ordered online. Stated all in stock. Received email stating only part of order in stock. Would I like a refund? So I asked for a refund on the entire order. THEY SAY the processed a refund back to card ? Nearly 3 weeks later neither bank nor visa know anything about a refund.. Contacting citizens advice and FCA. AVOID at all cost.

I would not recommend OutdoorGB or ExtremeGB (their parent company). They offered me, in writing, a refund voucher for a product which was not fit for purpose and then reneged this written offer, informing me that this was not their returns policy. My feeling is that if you put an 'unlimited returns' offer and provision of a refund voucher in writing then you should honour that offer.

I purchased a garment from OutdoorGB on their website, paying extra for Next Day Delivery. I checked out as a guest and paid using PayPal. The website processed the order without taking or confirming delivery details. One could only assume that they would take my delivery details from PayPal as with the many, many other online purchases I make - but my address must instead have been populated from some historical purchase I've made with this company. When I received my tracking email from Royal Mail I noticed that delivery was marked for my old address, which is incidentally only a couple of miles away. Straight away I rang Royal Mail who said I can't do anything as the customer and I should speak to OutdoorGB. I liaised with OutdoorGB who simply "couldn't do anything", completely unwilling to contact Royal Mail as you would expect of half-decent customer service. Eventually, before delivery Royal Mail sent me a link where I could set a preference that my parcel be delivered to a Post Office, which I did and they completely ignored, but that's a Royal Mail issue. The "Next Day Delivery" (to my old address) in fact was around 3 days in total, a full 48 hours after I notified all parties that this was going to the wrong address. Ample opportunity for OutdoorGB to contact Royal Mail to change the delivery location. Royal Mail returned the item to OutdoorGB as a "no longer at address". OutdoorGB then contacted me to say they will ship out again - at extra shipping cost - to myself. This is now 8 days since my Next Day Delivery order. I reply that I will not be paying any extra shipping charges as I have done everything in my power to have this delivered to me correctly after their online ordering process's anomaly, contrary to their customer services who have been obtusely unhelpful in trying to resolve the issue. I requested under the circumstances that the double mail charge be waived. Rather than waive the couple of pounds in having this redelivered, they chose to issue an (incomplete) refund on the total I paid out. This is the level of customer service you should expect to receive from this company should anything go wrong.

They don't tell you that you have to pay for returns if you want a refund - £8.95 for a pair of shoes. Buyer beware.

Bought a Ski helmet off them for an upcoming holiday. Size was too large, requested refund and was told it wasn't possible and referred me to the bottom of a returns policy with a very vague explanation of not being able to return if 'you have changed your mind'. Website is littered with easy returns and the first line of their policy states 'We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you're not, just return the product to us, following the instructions below, and we'll exchange or refund it'. Stuck with a £156.00 helmet that doesnt fit. Awful company.

I phoned up today over getting my money back if I do not get it back I will be contacting the trading standards. Avoid doing business with them

Extremely negative experience. I bought a pair of Salomon XA Pro 3D v8 GTX Womens Trail Running Shoes. The item was defected and also completely not waterproof (it has the label 'Goretex), basically a scam. The customer support not very responsive either. I would not recommend to trust this site for purchasing anything.

Package first arrived in okay time. Packaging leaves a bit to be desired of as it is just a thin plastic wrap that had holes in it after travel but nothing too bad to complain about. This is sadly where the positives end. The nightmare begins if you need to exchange an item for a different size. They advertise free returns but do not tell you it's a 7-10 working day window. I sat and watched the last of the stock that they had slowly run out as they weren't willing to reserve one despite my returned item already being in their possession. After waiting 10 working days, I then had to wait for an additional week for them to order in new stock as it had inevitably sold out. Then after waiting for the delivery to arrive, they had sent the wrong size. Nearly a month for an exchange to just get the wrong item It was at this point that I had had enough and just wanted my money back. There was no urgency to rectify their error after making me wait that long for the wrong item. Got a "we're sorry" and then told it would be another 7-10 working days to process a refund. The customer service is one of the most painful systems I have dealt with. Every email they send starts a new thread and they take so long to reply to each email you send that you have no idea what it is in relation too. It seems clear to me that they are swamped dealing with customers. Clearly taking on far too many orders than they can manage to a good standard. Would not recommend this company at all unless you have a lot of time and patience on your hands.

Same as other recent reviews. Placed order. Not received it. Tried to call. Not taking calls. Emailed several times and no reply. Steer well clear of them.

I ordered 2 of the same item. Only one was sent but the despatch order state 2 were sent - WRONG!. I have emailed 5 x, initial answer and now my emails are being ignored. 10 days since the first email and no sign of either a subsequent response, a refund or sorry we will send the second item. I've now put it in hands of my credit card company. The trouble is they can choose to say the document states 2 were supplied, implying I am trying to defraud them. For £22.00 I don't think so! Awful company, awful customer service, just keep away.
